# FabriCAM Software Flat Parts Basic P9 Hexagon (Part 5) Step by Step Video Tutorial

The next basic part on our list of parts in FabriCAM software is the classic Hexagon shape.

From parts with one to two values to choose from, this is one of those shapes that gets used all the time.

Alright, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at your part nine from the basic parts and this will be the Hexagon. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're back on the programme here. So now, like I mentioned, we are still busy on the basic parts. And the next one we're gonna be looking at is the Mexican is you'll see a lot of the shape when you're using actual bolts and nuts and uh yeah, let's just get right into it. So now what we're gonna do is we're gonna go to flat part Zuma again. And then, uh, once we take this, we want to look for part nine. So we're gonna go on top here. We've got the p nine and we can see here. It's got two measurements A and B. So then if I open this Oh, and our of my problem, My apologies. So then, uh, yeah, we can zoom in here and we can see what they do. So A is gonna set the height and with and then our is gonna set these corners How around you want thing. So let's go and try and make 1 300. Perhaps. And then the corners. Obviously, if you make this number quite high, eventually you're gonna basically have a circle. But I'm gonna make this. Maybe let's go about 40 to 50. I'm gonna go about 40. Say, okay. And then we've got a nice previous, so you can see we've got a nice rounding here. Can obviously leave this at zero. If you want a nice sharp edge or increase it a bit like mentioned if you want a bit smoother now, I'm gonna go manual quantity, make this one and then we click at now Shape Here we can see the shape is correct, but at part. And now we can see we've got our Mexican here, and obviously I actually going to consist of many different. You can almost say shapes, but this is a very basic, primitive version of it. So I'm gonna place this in here and then, yeah, we've got our shape. So we've already covered the circle. Basically, the ring uh, rectangle square, depending on dimensions.
