Understanding the Navigator View within the SAi FlexiPRINT RTUV 22 Software (Part 4)

When it comes to Navigating the Graphical User Interfaces Viewport, the Navigator View is a great feature to know.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at the Navigator view feature within flexi print. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A. We make sure need to watch problems. So in videos and we also have daily updates. Now, if we head into the programme here now, the feature we're gonna be looking at today like I mentioned is the navigator view. Now, this is, in my opinion, it is one of us overlooked gems. So if you are working with designs on the design process, this one is invaluable. Now it does at first get some, uh, time getting used to it. But once you get used to it, it is very nice to quickly navigate around your design. So now, in order to open it, I'm just gonna zoom in here to our view menu on our main tool bar. I mean, on our main menu, we're gonna click this and we're gonna navigate down until we find the Navigator view. As you can see, there's no hot key, so, unfortunately, we can't quickly jump between this, but normally it's one of those panels, you just leave open. So as you can see, we've got a little navigator view here. We can drag it a bit bigger if we want or smaller. And then, uh, I'm just gonna leave it like that. Maybe put it off to one of the sides. Could even be Maybe, Let's just, uh, hide. I'll design one for now and then move this year. So now this is a Yeah, a very handy tool. As you can see, I can. Now let's say I'm working. Just zoom here, grab a zoom tool. And perhaps I'm working over here and I wanna move around on this thing. Then I can simply, with whatever is zoomed in left, click and drag, you can see we can quickly move our design without having to zoom in or out. So it helps me to stay more focused on what I'm busy working at. And at the same time, it serves as a kind of a quick thumbnail of what your design looks like from afar, which is always handy while designing. So you make sure you don't lose track of what's happening Now you can adjust these things so you can select an area and zoom in over there. You can obviously also zoom into the entire, uh, page. So yeah, it's It's very simple, easy to use, but very handy when you're designing. Especially like sure, if you get to printing and stuff like that, it's maybe not as useful. But when it comes to actual designs, this, in my opinion, is a very handy tool. So the Navigator view, um, you can find it on the view like I mentioned, and you go to Navigator View.
