This is a great Feature when you are looking at cutting on more than just your normal flat surfaces.

One thing to also note that really stands out about this feature, is the ability to cut and engrave on the inside or outside of a cylinder type shape.

How are you guys? In today's video? We're gonna be looking at route camps, road tracks feature and just some basic settings on. I'll just set it up. But before that little quick intro first. Mhm. Mm mm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos. And we also have daily updates otherwise, back in the programme. Yeah. And now, yeah. The nice thing about this, uh, plugging is you can do your out tree and cutting as well. So if you've got something on like a cylinder type shape, you can do it straight from the plug in or set up the G code. So then, uh, first things we want to do is obviously we'll have to have some form of graphic setup. No, I do excuse. Mine is not the best and smooth this year. I hope yours will look a bit better, but this could, for instance, be Let's say you have a ring and you want to engrave something on it. They can always use something like that. Now it is important to set up your dimensions because only what's in the dimensions is going to get road trade is kind of seeing it as your wrap around. You can say, then what you wanna do is click on this little icon under your settings. Make sure you've got a profile. Then we're gonna just go to the one we get with a m .co.za and and go to edit. And then if we scroll down here, you will see by default. The road to machining is not so. In order to get that on, we have to make sure you're under our coordinates. We've got rotation on. You can choose which ones will put one over both and mapping as well. Then you'll see this is now available for us. We've got should I mean input? I'm gonna leave that off and there's, uh, zero point and machining cylinder access, so this you can all set in the actual plug in. So I'm just gonna leave all of this also as it is. If you know how you want your set, you always save it as the default. But I'll leave mine like that. They want to click, save and say it again. Now you can see you're under our camp plugging. We've got some new features here, so obviously we've got zero point here now. Okay, We're divided before, but we've got a few extra settings here then, um, also, if we go down here now, we've got the zero point. So you can go, uh, cylinders surface or slender access. So the one will be obvious on the surface, and the other one will be a depth. Then we've got under that machining above, uh, or we have below the cylinder axis. So this is, for instance, if you have a ring and you wanna grab something on the outside of it or something on the inside, then you will set this up. I'm gonna leave these by default as well. The next thing, what we wanna do is get you are two parts. You can create one. So I'm gonna do laser cutting in that click that OK for select something. So the select thing we wanna laser cut, put it, you can put your sitting here. I'm always gonna leave out, uh, in and lead out because we don't need that on our actual design. And then obviously we'll set your hair tight and all of that. And then you say Okay, and then you've got your job setups. And now, if we had to go here to the actual NC programme or the three D View port and let's go generate G wanted to code. Now, if we got a year to the preview and we open it up, you can see we have it in three D wrapping around that shape. So, like I said, you can do it on the inside and the outside of the shape.
