CorelDraw RouterCAM Plugin Lead-Ins and Lead-outs Feature (Part 13), Step by Step Video Tutorial

routercam lead ins lead outs

When it comes to the Lead-Ins and Lead-Outs of the RouterCAM plugin, we have a few great settings to choose from.

When you are doing cut outs on the inside of a shape or the outside, you are able to nicely choose how those leads must come in and out.

mhm. How are you guys? In today's video? We're gonna be looking at router camps feature for leading and outs. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yeah, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're back on the programme here now. Just reminded the season many serious alright camps features and I will leave relevant links and descriptions. You guys can follow it along. Now when it comes to lead ins and outs, this is ideally used for cuts. So if you have to cut the shape and how would you come in and how it goes out? So now we can obviously adjust this, um, we have some problem to adjust. The time is going to select our shape. Then we create a cut here. I'm gonna do the laser, laser, plasma and water, then under the leads and transitions we've got over here, a few different options. So now we've got a lead in and lead out to uncheck these. Then we cannot set their values, so it's just gonna start it wherever it is, the starting point cut straight through. But the problem with this is sometimes it makes a messy, um, start and finish. So then your overall shapers, but distorted on that one area, So the lead ins and outs helped to keep it nice and smooth. So we start with the lead in by default, we can see we've got a Little League coming in here for the cut. We can set the position by percentage, where we want it on the actual shape. So if you've got many shapes, uh, it's got many of them. This is great tool, and then under the lead in, we've got a few different settings. We'll cover the this one now. First of all, we've got lady in sweeping angle so we can set the angle of it. So let's say you want to bring in a bit closer to the edge, then you can set that lower or further away. You'll set it up. Depending on the type of shape you're cutting. You might be cutting a rectangle or something, and then you want to leave him a little bit different. Then we've got to leave in distance. So How far away does it start before it comes in? So you can make this more or less. I'm gonna leave that for now and then we've got the turn over lead in. If we click this, it will start to cut from the inside. So let's say you're cutting out these shapes and you actually just want the border. The border is like a decoration. Then you'll start to turn over a lead in so it doesn't start to cut in your actual border. But let's say it's this cylinder atmosphere so cool you want to cut out here, then you want to start it, um, with a cheque off. So you then this is thought, the actual circle. Then we've got this tangent to or whatever you tangent another exactly how you pronounce it. But what this will do is all basically start following the natural line of the shape. So instead of making a hard cut in, it will naturally start following it. So now we can increase this and say we make it work then and then you can see as it gets closer, it starts curving. And so we've got a smoother cut right around this is ideally, if you're using more dynamic type shapes with a lot of flow, this is a good way where if you're using hard edges like rectangles and cubes or keep you up on YouTube, some squares they This will be, uh, not that important to most of the time. Now, when it comes to the lead outs, you click that. Then, as you can see now we've got the way it's gonna get. Exit the cut. So now all these settings are exactly the same, so you can also set your, um, angles and all of that. Let's just increase this a bit. You make it about seven, and then we put a bit of an angle Year 10. Now it is good to keep in mind when we do the turn over, um, with these ones, but if it is set too high, you'll lead out radius. Then it will actually sometimes overcoat to the outside again. So just keep that in mind. Where if we had just said it, let's say we set this 1 to 30 because it's a circle. Many times you will still be missing it, as you can see. So once you put it on the inside. Just keep that in mind if you're leader outrageous, too high, it's going to go to the outside again. So just keep this within something reasonable. So it stays with the ship. Otherwise, yeah, that is it on the lead ins and outs for the feature. Like I said, this is used for cutting methods. With this laser plasma water, you can adjust them accordingly. But yeah, otherwise, if we head here to softwaretraining.co.za. Guys will notice. We've got a variety of different software to recover, and you can also isolate your search on top of right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking forward. Just simply go, Yeah, request a training video filling the form. And then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise, things guys for watching and cheers
