FabriCAM Software Adjust Lead Length by Percentage (Part 2) Step by Step Video Tutorial

fabricam lead length percentage

Now if have our lead in and outs set at the right locations we are also able to transform them with a percentage value.

The great thing about altering the leads by percentage is that it will keep a form of consistency through out.

Alright, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at how to adjust our leads, um, distance or length by a percentage value. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make short and easy to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates on the way back in the programme here. So now let's say we've got these two, um, cubes. We added I mean, uh, squares and then we want to adjust the leads length and we can do that an easy way just by adjusting the percentage of it. So I'm gonna zoom in over here to this corner and then go into camo so we can see the current leads. We're gonna move this top ones lead the external one here to the bottom corner, and there we go. We've got both of these. So now what we can do. I'm just gonna move this a bit to the left so we can see the current length. It's about halfway to that little house, so that's the current length of it. So what I'm gonna do is go out of Cam and then go to configuration. And then we go to the cam tab, fourth one on the left. And then what we wanna do is we want to activate the, um, calculation percentage in length, dash thickness. And we've got this active option. But now you might notice on the top left here it says external contours and the bottom internal. So depending on what you're setting, you could always just obviously activate both and then I'm gonna say apply. At the moment, we can see it's at 100%. Now, let's change it to 7.64 and 3.82. Now, if I had to make this one say 50% then you will see it updated these two. Now, this one is 3.82 and this one is 3.91. But I'm gonna go back to 100 so we can just see on the actual, um, cam area. Yes. So if I go back into Cam now, I can see where it was previously. About halfway to the house. Now it is plastered. There's a quick way you can adjust your leads in and out the length. Now, keep in mind. Like I said, you adjust the internal and external separately, so just be aware of that. But yeah, otherwise, that is it. On the, um adjusting the lead ins and outs with percentage. We head gear to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will notice for a variety of different Softwares We do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video, fill in the mini form and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you, but otherwise, thank you guys for watching and cheers.
