SAi FlexiSTARTER 19 Having a Look at the Fonts Tab (Part 5) Preferences Video Mini-Series

When it comes to the Fonts Tab, FlexiSTARTER has a few of their own fonts that can setup.

One of the benefits to using FlexiSTARTER fonts is that they support open paths, which is great seeing that open path fonts are so rare these days.

Hi there, guys. In today's video of Lexi Starter, we're gonna be looking at the font tab under the Programmes for Preferences. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Let's see a lot today you guys can navigate their to find, uh, different Softwares we cover. And also we upload training videos. They So you just go by there for any new content. Otherwise we're back in the programme. Yeah, now, just a reminder. This is a miniseries on the programmes preferences and today we'll be covering the phones tapped. So I will leave relevant links in the description. If you would like to follow along otherwise, to locate the preferences, we're gonna go to our main menu on top year and we navigate to edit and the edit. We're all the way to the bottom and preferences now under the preferences, we have a few tabs on top here. Like I mentioned covering the fonts today. We've already covered the general and the file parts around the fonts. There's, um, three main settings to look at. So first of all, it will be where your funds are located and keep in mind. This is not Windows Francis's flexi start of fonts. So it's different funds altogether. So then a defaults already by the right location. If you have any fault activated or you have passwords for them, you can always go here to add popping up this box, and you add the passwords for the funds you're looking for. You can also select the passwords. We have one and keep the legs. I currently don't have any installed here. Another thing you can do is you can make a path open and for any of you that you, um like, you know, when you're when you're cutting edges and stuff like that, you'll kind of know what opened parts of four. It's quite a outlines and so forth. It's not a very common path to find or fund to find, but it's nice that he started allows you to be able to turn fun into open parts. So what you'll do, basically you'll go from the drop down list. Select the right front you want, and then you just click this open button and it will turn it into an open path for you then. But let's say you've set up stuff and now you're having problems or so forth. You always got to restore defaults, and we'll set everything back to default for you. And it's just another note on the open parts. Keep keep in mind. If you did set it, you're gonna have to restart your programme. So then you actually go, okay? And just quit it and go back in. Otherwise, that is their phones tapped. If we head here to the training today, uh, video is available here. And like I mentioned the intro, we have a variety of different Softwares we did cover. If you did not want to go through the list of videos and try and find what you're looking for, you can always just go into search option. Isolate, just searches. Click here or typing something and magnifying glass. Then it will try to locate a few. It still runs dry. You can always go here to request a training video.
