There are a number of standard template document sizes included. You can also specify a custom design area size by entering in horizontal and vertical values.

Hi there, guys. Today in Flexi Starter, we're gonna be looking at the document tab under the design central panel. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Will see, uh, we make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a reminder. This is a miniseries on the design Central tab panel, which is located, right. And today we're gonna be looking at the documents. I will also leave relevant links in the description so you guys can follow along. But, uh, first of all, let's just start in case you do not have this panel and you do not have the documents properties and how do we go about it? So, first of all, what we want to do is open and designed panel or design central panel, which will be in the next hour undo and redo buttons. Or you can go to the view we go down till we get to sign Central now to get the actual documents properties. Um, because of the central work. So we have the properties or whatever is selected. Now, the easiest way to do this is probably just clicking anywhere where there's no graphics, it somewhere on the white area, and then we'll see. Now we have the documents properties here or what we can, alternatively do. Select this again. We can go to our top main menu, navigate to file, and then we go to documents, Setup control beers, the shortcut select that will do the same thing. Even though this is selected. We know the documents properties, but in any case, so then what we can do. So what we have on the year is two tabs. So we've got the documents tab and then we've got margins. We'll be looking at the document. So from our first option here, we have a few templates or preset sizes so you can go here through the list and look for you know, you've got a three 80 for quite a few of the STB s. And then, um, yeah, you can kind of just go through here quickly, Big one, or you've got the custom options. Another option we have right next to that little arrow. If we click this, it's additional options. We can add so we can make our own. We can delete so the current when your honour will delete it. So just watch out for that we can set it to default. So every time you open the programme, it will have the one you've set by default. And then we have your show borders, which basically for you to select this, you'll see we can no longer see the borders of your and design area. So let's say you're working just on graphics and you're not gonna actually cut it in this current project. Then you can always switch that off. Otherwise, I'd like to leave it on, then next up here, we've got the width and the height of the document. As we see here, you can obviously, there's a few ways that we can edit this. You can just use those little keys and use your mouse wheel. As you see, it turns into custom as soon as we do that, or you can use your arrow keys up and down also just also select and type in their customer Now, then, under that, we have an option to set your document to portrait or landscape, so If we go to portrait here, you can see what that does landscape. So there's depending on what you're going for in your design. And then we also have an option for a background colour, so they know you can. Let's say you're working on a white design. You can always make your background black grey, and it's easier to see your design. But in my case, I will just leave it on transparent. Otherwise, that is it. On the documents, I say we've got margin, which you can imagine what that does so we can see the margins for printing and so forth. Then, uh, otherwise, if we had here to softwaretraining.co.za y, you guys will notice we have a variety of different Softwares. We do cover, and also we have a search option here. So if you don't wanna manually navigate through the videos, you can just isolate your search type in what you're looking for and hit the little search button. But then, if you do not find what you're looking for, you can always go here to request the training video.
