FabriCAM Software About the Auto Nesting Feature (Part 1) Step by Step Video Tutorial

When it comes to tools that saves you time and in most cases money, the Auto Nesting tool is most certainly one of those.

The great thing about the Auto Nesting feature is that it leaves you with a lot of control when it comes to setting up the tools options.

Hi guys. In today's video in Fabric Cam, we're gonna be looking at the nesting feature, or at least they overview of it. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z day. Now, the nesting feature is very handy if you have a lot of parts and, um, you prefer not to automatically, I'm not sure I say manually place them, then the nesting feature will be quite handy now it does have a few different settings we have to look at. You can become figured in a in multiple ways, depending on your desired outcome. Now to locate it will be here on our primary toolbar. If you look at this little thing that looks a bit like a puzzle, that's quite a nice way to visualise it as well as kind of putting all those shapes together in, um, automatic way in the best way it can. Sometimes, in some cases you might still wanna manually nest it, but for this miniseries. We're mostly gonna be looking at auto nesting. Now you might notice if you have no shapes on your actual project, that the nesting biden will not be available. So if I Let's say adequately, close this one and you can see there now, it is no longer available. So you actually have to have, um, uh, some form of project shapes on your actual project. In order for this thing to work now, there's gonna be like I said a different few different ways. We can set this up depending on your desired outcome. So you can modified quite quite a lot. But there is something also say a few things you have to keep in mind that we will cover in the latest series about, um, the actual workflow, um, the way you want to go about it.
