CorelDraw Software Exporting Image with New CMYK (Part 3) Step by Step Video Tutorial

coreldraw export image new cmyk

After we have successfully replaced our Key channel with a fake one, we want to ensure that it keeps the changes.

If we do this last step incorrectly it will reset our key channel and undo our progress.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.

guys in today's video, we're gonna be looking at how to export our new image with a fake K. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make short and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Now, if we are to add into the programme here. So in the previous video, we looked at creating a a k using the multiple layers. Now we're gonna be looking at exporting it, which is probably the most important step. Because if this goes wrong, then it's gonna bring K back into your image, and then the final print will not have any black. So now I've got my image open here. So now what I wanna do is I wanna go to pile on top of the, uh, top left menu, fix on a zoom file, and then we wanna go down to actual export. So I'm gonna click export, Then we want to navigate to where we want to export. So I'm just gonna choose my current location where I'm working from, and then, uh softwaretraining.co.za videos and then printing sample, and then I'm gonna export it here. So we're gonna once again, I'm gonna use this as a coral draw. I'm gonna go V two for version two, or maybe m two for method. That's fine. And I'm gonna go C m y. And then, um it's gonna write you a fake case afterwards. I can easily see what's happening, and I'm gonna make sure the save type is JP. Uh, it might be a few other forms that works, but your classic, uh um p n g I found did not give me the option to add, uh, what do you call it? C m Y k. So now was it named in the right format? I'm gonna say export, it says your export and will we merge with a background in export, Which means all of these I'm gonna say, OK, going to load. And then once again, like I said, the most important step is this colour mode. So I wanna make sure this is set to C M Y K and not R GB or anything else. So with the set to C M Y k the rest, I'm gonna leave a default can adjust yet to see what's happening. And then I'm gonna say, OK, I'm just gonna export it. And what I'm gonna do is I'm also gonna just export it quick without these multiple layers so we can see the difference. And then, um, yeah, can I do what I just did there? Let me try and do that. OK, so let's remove that. We go file. Go again, Export. Now I'm gonna select on this one to get the name, but this one I'm just gonna call it C m Y Export. So OK, and then all the settings are still the same with C N Y k selected. So OK, and then there we go. Now what I wanna do is just confirm that there is no k left in it or no black from the actual channel, but it's getting the black from the colours of the C M y. So in order to do that, I'm gonna go to Photoshop. Like I said in the previous mini series, you can do this in your actual, um, coral draw. But just so you guys can see I'm using another programme to verify that the K is not there. So we've got two images. I'm first gonna open our one with a fake black. And then what I can do is with my colour picker and then on the top here, I've got a colour. So I'm gonna put some k there just so you guys can see it is not the default. So the K is currently 47. I'm gonna go to a dark area. Let's see, uh, between the hair. Yeah, it looks like it's nice and dark, so you can always go with the eyes as well. But I'm just gonna go over the hair now. I'm just gonna click there and as we can see on the top, left top, right. My apologies. It is currently zero K. So it's nice. It's not by no means as contrasting as a normal image would be. But if we compare it so I'm gonna open here compared to having no black, then. In my opinion, it's definitely way more readable. So this is currently how it would be printing it so there will be no black, and then this one bring a lot of the contrast black back, which is quite great for you. considering there's no black in the actual printer, but yeah, that is the second method of, um, placing your K with a fake K. So, um, yeah, it is convenient. It's good to know how to go about it, but yeah. Otherwise, before we, um, move to our next mini series if we head you to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video, fill in the mini form, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
