VinylCut 5 Software Duplicating Shapes and Autofill the Mate, Step by Step Video Guide

Duplicating shapes. You could draw a shape multiple times, but it’s easier to duplicate the shape automatically.

One can also with the Duplicate and Autofill options in VinylCut 5 quickly fill the whole mate in order to not waste any vinyl’s.

Okay. Hi there. Today's video in vinyl Cut what we're looking at. Multiple waste, duplicated object or shape and also the auto full option. Just a quick intro here. So just by their for any new concept, Otherwise, we're back in the programme here. Just remove this large icon. So now the most common way to to duplicate the object is obviously just the copy paste on top. Here, click copy and paste and make a duplicate for you so you can move this around where you want it. Another way we can do it. Which kind of like helps with your workflow to keep it fast is having your object selected. If you keep holding on your windows and you click and drag, then you will see that will make duplicates for you. It's a very handy no shortcut or rather, uh, hotkey to to navigate with anyway, so another way we can do this is that we can go and talk to object, and then we'll navigate to duplicate. I will cover duplicate, irritate in another video. For now, we'll just do a duplicate. Then I'll pop up this pop up box. So now, uh, our first one is total columns. So this will be how many is next to each other. Then we have total rose. How many is on top of each other, and then we've got our zamtel spacing spacing between them playing on the horizontal axis and vertical. We also have a group duplicate. So if we select this after it's been duplicated, then it will put it all into one group folder. So instead of having your layers panel, you're full of little emojis. We say, Okay, you'll see. Now we only have one. And if you open a group or your marriage is in there, so this helps if you wanna just easily move all those groups together and obviously just a reminder to Owen group it, you can just head to object and group and control. Short key for that is control shift cheek. Okay. And then, um, let's just look at another option. And that will be the, uh, wonderful pay So if we copy this again, then we go to edit and we say paste order for so has control shift plus all. Plus, we that's quite a shortcut here anyways, So if we select this now, you can see it fills the whole canvas. So if you're gonna be doing mass printing of a sticker or something like that and you wanna try, utilise as much canvas space as you can and this is a great feature to quickly get everything on the canvas just by simply going copy it. Then again, you got to edit engage paste order for and yeah, so that is the basics and some obviously, Yeah, sorry to keep in mind. It will leave your original there, so just make sure you remove that one from the canvas before you get it. Send it to the cutter, by the way. So that is the basics and the some advanced features on duplicating, uh, in final cut.
