SAi FlexiSTARTER 19 Paste Special Duplicates (Part 4) Duplicating Objects Mini-Series
flexistarter special paste duplicates
This is by far the coolest and quickest way to make a Raster duplicate of a selected Vector shapes or object.
But there are a few different ways to use this feature as to the Vector to Raster conversion option.

Alright, guys. Today's video Flexi starter. We're gonna be looking at duplicating objects using the pay special feature. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yeah, done. So today's video Can we find a softwaretraining.co.za t Seattle today? We make short and easy to watch problems having videos, and we have daily updates otherwise, back on the programme here now, just a reminder. This is a miniseries on duplicating objects, and I will leave relevant links and description so you guys can actually follow along. But like I mentioned today's video, we're gonna be looking at how to make duplicates of shapes and objects using the paste special feature. So in order to do that, first of all, we'll need a copy of our we'll need to make a copy of our object or shape into a clipboard, which you can either go on your standard to be here, hit the two local papers, or we can simply control C while it's selected, or go to edit and say copy. And then once that is done, we can go here to edit on our main menu on top. Navigate down. I apologise until we find Paste special And when I click that you'll see we've got a few options from drop down menu. Now, at the moment we've got here for flexi Starter AM edition with one full picture method file. And then we've got device independent and beaten up. So now the top one will just operate like a normal copy paste. So you probably wouldn't want to use this feature for that. And we have a picture here which will basically turn it into a rise, the image or pixilated version. And then we've got independent bit map, which will do a similar thing. So if we first go to meta file okay, then you'll see. We've got a few options here on the top one. We can just say input vectors. Vectors. Sure, Yeah, pretty much just turned into a vector again. And then we have here importance, but map and the resolution. So DPS obviously for printing or beginning around 300 or maybe 100 50 all the way to 600 depending on the quality looking. But for this demonstration, I'm gonna leave this. I'll put this at 20 to see you guys can see the result. It might look okay Now you can see it's made a paste here. Now, if we scale this up and see those things rather pixelated and you cannot see through the transparent areas anymore, Now it is a white background. So it's turned it into a bit map or also known as the rest the image. But as you guys can see, we've got this little black outline around all the Yes, all right, the out lights, which is a really strange I honestly can't tell you why it does it. Because if we had to take the same shape, I'm gonna hide the, um, full. I'll show you how to outline. And then, um, let's do the same thing and make a copy of it. We're gonna pay special, select the same one pictures matter, and then they're okay. Now you'll see when the stroke is removed and no longer get that black outlined so clearly it's something to do with the stroke. But to get around that, what we can do is if I just put this back, creates a size a bit, we can now copy this and we use the other feature that was under there. So the bit map so, um, device independent. Uh, we say Okay, now we cannot set the resolution anymore. The D p I. But as you can see now, there's a more true version of the pace. But as you can see here, those things rather high quality. So, um, yeah, I don't think the resolution would be too much of a problem. Yeah, otherwise, that is it on the paste special. And then, uh, yeah, just a quick recap. Obviously. Copy it headed paste special, and you'll have your options. First one is the basic, so we'll be equivalent going. Control C control via copy and paste into your standard too. Well, the next one does a bit map. We can see the resolution, and then last one just does an independent bit map that basically does almost like a 1 to 1 type, uh, copy of it. But it no longer is transparent backgrounds. Otherwise, we're headed to softwaretraining.co.za c. Uh, we have a variety of different software to recover, and you can also isolate Just search with our search bar on top, the other right. If you do not find you're dealing for, however, you can always go request a training video. Then we will make that video for you. But otherwise, things guys watching and cheers
