Hey guys. In today's video of Flexi Starter, we're gonna be looking at how to set the cut order of your objects and shapes in the design area. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure easy towards problem solving videos. We also have daily updates. Otherwise we go back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the court order and then I will also leave relevant links in description so you guys can follow along. So in the previous video, we looked at how to locate your cut order and how to view what is the current order so we won't be covering today. So today we're gonna be looking at setting the actual cut order. So now if we go on this, uh, he ordered panel, we've opened, we'll see. We've got these options. That's great out now, What this will do is we'll set the order of objects or shapes that select Now If I select something you can see, they become visible and also keep in mind you can select multiple objects and set their order together. They don't need to be grouped in order to do that. So then, um also, let's just quickly look at what we have here. So if we harbour, we can see we've got this one says to front and the shortcuts that shift page up. All of these should have shortcuts. So two front, What will happen is if you click this whatever objects you have selected, let's say this one. And I put it like this so we can see it's behind all of them. Then it's gonna pop it right to the front. So on top of everything in this design, then obviously the opposite to back, they will shift. Whatever you've got selected right to the back, we have here forward one. As you can imagine. If I click, this will only go forward by one. Click it again and we'll go forward by one again. This does not necessarily mean now it's on top of these, even though it is obviously not aligned with them. But the stacking order it is still not on top of most of us. Then we have the opposite, which is one back now, that's something to keep in mind with. When it comes to the cutting order, it will be cutting from your lowest layer to the highest level. So any item that's the furthest back will be cut first and the one that's the highest upward cut lost. I'm not honestly sure if you can change the order of that, but that is that the way it is by default. So if I had to go to the view so we can view the cut order, then we can see here. We've got the order now, so that one is the lowest. So cut down first, then the next one, then the third one. As you can see here, if we take this blue one and we send it right to the back, we go back to this legacy. Now it's cutting the blue one first. Then it's cutting. Um, what was orange and then the yellow. So that is something to keep in mind. So if you have a shape will take something like this and you want to keep the colour or the order the same then, um, you can, unfortunately choose which one will be cut first. If you're sure you won't be able to choose this one to be cut before the back group. These and we go to the court order will notice Nothing has changed other than you're now. You move them together. Legislation group that. So that is something that you have to keep in mind his, um, that it does work from the furthest back layer to the front. Sometimes what will happen is, um, let's move this once opened it to the front, and then we'd like one back. And because of the next word you're thinking, No, it's fine. Then if you go to the preview, really, there's only cutting it way after a few other things. So then you can simply just click them, send them to the back, go to the preview, and now we can see that it's cutting in the right order. So that is how you will be setting your cut order. The next one will be looking at previewing the actual cut out. We'll be going and perhaps the cut direction. But if you guys had to softwaretraining.co.za hat's the end of the day. You will notice it's got a variety of different Softwares. Will recover. And also you can isolate your search on top of right. If you do not, however, find the video you're looking for your request, a training video. Then we will make that video for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and cheers.
