VinylCut 5 Easily Duplicate and Rotate Objects Around a Point, Step by Step Video Guide

In VinylcCut 5 there are many different ways to rotate an object, but when it comes to rotating it around a certain point with a copy of it, things can be a bit tricky.

The Duplicate Rotate is a super quick and easy way to duplicate and rotate an object around a point, in a circular form without having to have any extra objects on your mate as a rotation origin.

Hi guys in today's video with final cut will be looking at, uh, making rotated duplicates of shapes. Let's just have a quick intro here. Mm. So today's video can be found, uh softwaretraining.co.za. Now let's say we want all these arrows to be pointing at the heart, and instead of copying it and customary rotating it, um, it's an easy way to do that. You can also make it unique shapes. If you use this technique, doesn't have to be something pointing at something. It could just be like a star or like Sun rays going around or something like that. But any case, so we'll start off by copying it. Then what we'll do is we'll go to our object on top or object menu. Then we go down to duplicate rotate shortcut for those control. Shifty. We click this in the proper box for the duplicate or appear. Yeah, we've got the total copies the direction I wanted to go and we wanted to retain evenly or asymmetrical or something in that line. So let's first start with duplicates. So let's make for now about three. Then the next thing I want to do with what the horizontal set. Let's keep it on to Then you can see what that does. I'll be Your taxes are offset for this. We'll keep it at zero. It's got to about three for now. And then we set the rotate V offset for vertical. Now this will adjust it. So we're gonna just It sort of feels like it's nicely in the centre there, then, um, once again, we can also say group duplicates. So once it's done on the layers panel, there won't be many. Arrows will only be one Arab group. Inside of that will be the area, so we'll leave that on for now. Okay, then we have all this selected. We can just move it So everything is a bit more on the centre of the mat. And now if we look here about our layers, we've got the layers there. So if we open it, here's the individual layers grouped now. So now if we move the arrows that will move them all together and just a reminder. If you wanna ungh, group it, you can always just go once again to object on top. Then you go to one group, which will be control shift G.
