How are you guys? In today's video? I'll cut. We'll be looking at the Connexion settings for the cut settings. Let's have a quick intro here. Mhm So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Uh, we have a variety of different Softwares. We do cover, and we upload videos daily. So just by different new content always back in the programme here now, just a reminder of you guys. This is a miniseries on the cut settings. And if you're not sure where to locate it of your printers set up or your cutter just click on this little icon here with a cutter paper and kind of like then the previous video, we had a quick, overt view of the user settings. Excuse me. And then today we'll be looking at the Connexion settings. Uh, what there is and what do they do? So now first off is the model. Mm. So if we go down here, we can select which model of colour we've got and keep in mind, depending on what you choose here, the options will be different. So on the connexions for the generic, we have a serial com and we have USB But if we navigate here, let's say just to the last model year, then. Now something we have TCP I p as well. If you have some form of network, uh, cut opens a set up, you can do that. So then, um so that is kind of what the model does. Then under that, like I mentioned, we've got the Connexion. So now depending what you choose here, if you've got used to be, then it will just simply be it's plugged into USB. You've gotta, Cyril calms. You can kind of choose also which com is it like I'm connected to order to take and then TCP I p You can put in the i p address here of your printer or so forth. Then you're print done straight to that. To the right of that, we've got to refresh. If it's not picking up these settings, you always go refresh, and then you go test print. Under there, it will say will attempt to move the roller or blade. A short distance back and forth basically just tells you to see this connexion between your computer and your programme and the printer. But it also lets you know that it will not cut anything, so you can just say okay, but it might also cancelled. Then, next to the model you've chosen, you can go here to settings. So if we select this will pop us up the settings for that printer that we have selected now, most of these settings. Here's where you don't have to play with because, um, it is quite advanced. And by default, they are, uh, quite solid. But if you do want to play with it, I would really recommend, um, open your manual and go through that first to make sure you said it, uh, accurate to what it's required. And if you've made a mistake here, you've played around and vaccinate. You can just go to the bottom here and say, set to default. And when you click that or reset all of this now under the settings here, we've got, uh, size collaboration. Then we've got the bound rate. And then, uh, I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing that right. Any case on the right here? We've got the print and cut settings, and then you can use a segments for why? So you've got the X and y. And then we've got the job distance as well. So just a quick a review. Like most cuttings, most cutters you you might cut, Let's say, a rectangle. That's, uh, perfect square. That's maybe 200. 200 many metres, whatever, whatever you choose from menu. And then when you finally cut it, it's maybe like 100 and 99 by 201 or so. Then you can adjust these settings to get it accurate. But like I said, keep in mind, refer to your manual because unless you're you're feeling experimental. But in general, I would recommend you can just leave this whole section unless you actually know what you're doing or get a technician. And then, um, then next up, we've got here the bound great. This is the speed, which the the the idea that travels from your computer to the cutter. But once again in general, I would just leave it what it is unless you're manual recommends something or you're having problems with the information being sent, then to the right of that year. We've got registration marks now, also, in most cases, just leave us what it is unless you know what you're doing. Then you can set up the mark, size and mark thickness and so forth. Then you will be seeing it here under your actual settings for the cover. And then, like I said, you can just change it to why the segment marks. And then we've got the job distance here, which will be basically the distance the head or Matt moves with each arrow, key and increment. So I'll be the normal, and then the fast will be basically the same. But we're holding shift or, um, yeah, so then that is the basic. I'll just be leaving this cancer and then, uh, yeah, next up, we'll be covering here the next section which will be the actual cutting and growing settings. But we'll leave that for another video. Just reminded a previous video you can find in the description. I'll have a link, and the next one as well will put a link of description. He can follow along otherwise. So we navigate here to final cut dot c o dot z. A programme is freely available here. Just head to the downloads page and then, um, you go to softwaretraining.co.za r seals like I mentioned, we've got a variety of different software to cover, as you can see here. And also, we have a nice little search options so you can isolate your search. Then, if you don't find what you're looking for, you can also request a training video. And then, yeah, we'll make that video for you. Otherwise, thanks, guys, for watching. And I'll see you in the next one. Cheers.
