SAi FlexiSTARTER 19 Convert Objects to Strokes (Part 9) Working with Shapes Mini-Series

flexistarter convert objects to strokes

Being able to change an object to a stroke type shape will help to make curtain changes, but do note that this is a permanent change.

When you’ve used the extra setting to change your base shapes within flexiSTARTER, you can change them to a stroke to be able to edit their vector node points for more customization.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.

Hi guys. In today's video flexi starter, we're gonna be looking at how to convert objects to shapes. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm, no. Yeah, yeah. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za CN dot z A. We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we have daily updates. Otherwise, we add back into the programme here. Now, we've already covered, uh, the editing of these shapes, especially the control points you get when you just create a new shape. She had to just head over to their these ones. We can control the borders and so forth. Now, in today's video, we're gonna be looking at how to change it. So let's say you have change it to something. You've lied, so I'll make something a bit more exotic. Maybe something in this line. So, as you can see, we can control these points. Still to find just that. Well, fine. Tune it. Now let's say you won't actually turn this into a shape so you can no longer do that. You can just, um, use these pointers actual vector points. Then what you can do is save your object selected. You want to navigate your main menu on top, and then we go to arrange and we never get down till we find you convert to outlines. We select that, you will see if we're now, first of all and designed central panel. The third tab is no longer available. If we had to double click this to get to that section, you'll see we only go through two options so we no longer that option available. We'll see if you go, um, edit. The points will notice now that we've had these points as individual points. Um, honestly, not too sure why we are not seen outside Points out. There we go. Just I haven't selected, so yeah, so that is, uh, it on creating are converting objects to shapes. And also just a reminder that this is a miniseries covering, um, working with shapes. So we'll leave relevant links and descriptions. You guys can actually follow him along. Otherwise, we had year to the website softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will know that we've got a variety of Softwares we do cover. And also you can isolate your search on the top right there. Stop what you're looking for a magnifying glass button and we'll try to find the results for you. But if you do not, however, find any results because the training video, then we will make that video for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and choose.
