rdworks skewing objects shapes
The Skewing feature is great if you would like to put a bit of slant to your shapes and objects.
This also works well when you are working with a font that does not have an italic option available.
This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers Transforming – Ratio.

How are you guys? In today's video? We're gonna be looking at how to transform your shapes and objects by skewing them, and this will be done for. Trigger already works. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm mm. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure it's easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also daily updates. Otherwise, we had back in the programme here now just quick reminder. This is a miniseries on transforming shapes, and also I will leave relevant links in the description so you guys can follow along now. When it comes to screwing objects, it's pretty much two ways we can go about this. So there's the more freehand way and the precise way, so the free hand. If we have our object selected with our selection tool or you can drive a selection box over it, we simply just double click on this room, and then you'll see here in the middle where these killing objects icons. So if you have over them, you'll see your icon changes. Now keep in mind, but I'm skewing the top. Then the bottom year will become the origin. But you can see the skin around that point where if I just kill the bottom, let's try that again. Then the top become same for horizontal and vertical or work the same. Now, the second, um, way we go to our system will play here on the right to go to a transform, um, panel for right. And it's a lost icon from the options available now, every year you can see we've got the degree of skewing for our results. I'm very cool and something to keep in mind. So horizontal, Let's say 2020. It will be, um, it's gonna apply at the bottom as you can see that it's cute it to the left. And then if you go minus K, let's first got minus 20 to reset it, and then we go minus 20 again and they'll secure to the opposite direction. So that is something to keep in mind that you can go to the positive and negative for different directions. Now, obviously, we've covered before these values, um, stay the original you use or should I say the previous years? So this doesn't mean it's cute by 20. At the moment, I had to click on this object says Same. It's actually zero. At the moment. It's just This keeps it the same, so you can be multiple objects with the same parameters. Now under here, we have another option called news anchor points. So, as you can see at the moment, if we ask you something, it goes around the centre point and we do this 20. We'll see. Excuse around the saint when people spacing both sites. So just reset this zero. Now, if we use anchor points now, we can skew it around eight point. So let's say now we want to have it working the same as this one. How is the free hand one? Then? We just left the bottom origin CA minus 20 and skinner were using this as a anchor point. But yeah, that is it. On skewing is rather simple. Yeah, two main, two main ways to go about it. We've got a free hand and a more precise way. Otherwise, we had here to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys don't notice. You've got a variety of different software to to cover, and also you can't isolate your search on it all right? If you do not, however, find the video, you're looking forward to request a training video. Then we will make that video for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
