Hey guys. In today's video, intricate already works. We're gonna be looking at the text tool that's located on your draw ball, but before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found a softwaretraining.co.za. Otherwise, back in the programme here and now, it's just a reminder this is a mini serious based on the draw ball, which is this boy on the left. We're gonna have a quick overview of just all the different buttons and what they do. So I will also leave relevant links in the description so you guys can actually follow along in today's video. Now, like I mentioned earlier, we're gonna be looking at the text tool, which is, um uh, very similar to most other programmes text tools with a few key differences. So obviously it is located with a little F with that law, you can tell me what you call that thing when you click between letters to add text. So then any case? So you want to First of all, select that and Then you can click anywhere on your design area to add text, and it's going to bring you up this pop up box for the text. Now, first of all, we can set the types of fonts where you want to use, and then the funds have drop down menu so you can navigate to the front or what? Just keeping in mind that when you change the front, it's not going to display it. Update here in this little text boxes only once you click OK, with the text change or and then you take that's been added. So it's just because at a text you can see the difference, obviously, where you're gonna enable ad your text. Then on the right here, we've got worth going to spread it spacing and line space and at the bottom Here, we've got the height. Now, this is kind of what most of you will remember or know as the, um, font size. So that will be the height. I'm just gonna keep my output mind at 145. Then we also have this, uh, we've got the enable variable text, but we'll cover that in the future videos. It's got a way more advanced options to look at. Then what you do is you simply click OK, and then you'll see you've got your added text selected, and then I would really want it. That's something to keep in mind. Like said where various to other programmes text is the way you edit it so normally. What you would do is you would go back to your text tool, select your text and edit it, which you would imagine. You know, this It looks like it just did it because it shows how to text on size and everything like That's right. But every time you add new text will show you your previous settings. So if you want to work with a lot of similar settings, that's quite useful. But, um, that will actually add new text if we said okay, so you actually wanna edit text you want? Select your selection tool, select your text and you just double click it. And now you can see we've got the text. So just share a quick example. Let's make this 1 60. Okay, you can see that change. I'm going to undo that. And then let's add or let's rather go, Uh, 1000 and 67 cents. Okay, so let's go to the text tool again. We selected text like you would normally edit. And now let's make this 130. Okay, you see, just added new text, so just keep that in mind. That is how you actually edit text this by using the selection tool and double clicking, whichever takes your change. Otherwise, that is Yoh pretty much an overview of the text locating your crowbar.
