To change the font of text within the program is pretty normal, but there is something to keep in mind.

When it comes to this tool you will notice that the text does not automatically update when you change the font of text.

Yeah, by the guys in today's video, we're gonna be looking at changing your font with the text tool within. Truecar already works, but before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure we need to watch a problem solving videos and we also have daily updates otherwise, back in the programme. Yeah, Now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the text tour, and I will also leave relevant links and description so you guys can follow along. So now that we're actually getting to the editing, uh, area of the text tool, we're gonna be looking at the first option, which is changing the font or the fonts. Now, in order to, uh, do that, we wanna make sure our selection tools enabled. Obviously, if you're adding new text, you can do it straight from there. But we already have pre existing text. I'm going to select it, double click it and then we will see. We've got the options here now, right on top here. We've got the two different types. We've got true type font and S H X front. So before we go into the normal farm, let's just cover the essay cheques because, in my opinion, you don't use it much. So was that a quick overview for what it is? So now, in short, this is, um, an ex S H X far contains shape. I am all found compiled by all the days or the cat. And this is from a generally I think the dot s h P shape file or it can also be a dot pf be fund. For now, it stores shapes and definitions as well as fond definitions for displaying custom text. S H X files support many types, uh, one or many type one postscript fonts. So now, yeah. Uh, I would say if you are familiar with working with this, I would love to be in the description. Are you go about it. But behind General, I'll just be working with normal funds now. Something to keep in mind about the normal funds is when you change it, you can simply make sure it is selected. True type fonts click on this little arrow, then you can select a new font. Now you will notice that we don't see any updates in this law from area. So this does not show us what I found. Looks like we'll only see the changes when we finally click. Okay? And then the font will change. So it is rather important to note that so you're unfortunately not just updated. Live here. You need to click. OK, first, in order for that to change and this is pretty much where you will be selecting all your phone's going through here, select the right funds and then say okay through the simple to change of funds and just keep in mind to locate it, you need to double click your text, you want to change, and then from this drop down menu with the right one selected, change your fun like that and click OK to confirm it or cancel to cancel the action.
