Using the Scale by Percentage is a great way to speed up your workflow if you have an idea of the scales.

With the Scale by Percentage, you are able to quickly increase or decrease the scale to fit your design needs.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at scaling objects and shapes using percentage values, and this will be located under your cut properties bar. The video is also made for that already works. And before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm. Uh Mm. Mm mm. So today's video can be found a softwaretraining.co.za. Yeah. So you guys can follow a lot now when it comes to the scaling and the previous video we covered scaling objects. Let's say you've got a strict design requirement, then, um, we will scale that using the cut property bond top here. So I'm just gonna make this for now. 10 centimetres or 100 millimetres. Museum in this. You guys can see it now. Our they were cube. There is exactly 10 centimetres by 10. Change the colour. So when we have selected, it's actually ready. So we can see it better. So now what we can do is next to your scaling. You can see we've got these percentage values. So now we can set the worth and the hide by percentage. So let's everyone to change the with 20 centimetres. We're gonna make this 200% or make it twice as big as we see Now you've got the 20 centimetres and then let's say I want to make this on 5 50%. Now it's 20 by five or 200 by 15 millimetres. Now, something you might have noticed is that the values the percentage values reset to 100 after you've used them. And that is because your new shape as or share your shape is in new shape. So now this is 100% of five centimetres. So when you adjust this, you must just according to the new shape or the new size on the left. Well, yeah, otherwise, um, just a quick recap. This is a nice feature. If you wanna scale your objects of shapes what percentage? So if you want to keep the same scale, but you wanna maybe scale it exactly by 100% or so forth. Then you'll be using that quite convenient.
