Hi guys. In today's video of Lexi Starter, we're gonna be looking at a tool on how to select similar objects within flexi started. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Uh, mhm, yes. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we do have daily updates, so just keep an eye there for the new content. Otherwise, we go back here to the programme. Now, just a reminder. This is a miniseries on selecting objects. We've already covered a few different methods and today we're gonna be looking at how can you select similar shapes quickly? So now, yeah, also leave for aluminium links in the description so you guys can follow along. But then, like with any other selection tool or at least most selection methods, you're gonna have to have your selection tool selected, which is here on your main toolbar so you can see there. The shortcut for that is eight. So with that selected, you can select object. I'll select this rectangle and what you can do is you got your main menu on top to edit, and then we navigate down till we find select, and they will navigate till we find select similar objects. So when we click this, you can see it is as selected both as rectangles for us. I Likewise, where to select the circle that you edit. We navigate to select and we go select similar objects and you'll see it selected these two and the outline for our little s logo there, which is pretty nice as recognise that as a circle as well. But, you know, if you're like me, you know, that's a bit of a you know, it takes a lot of time having to constantly navigate your main menu on top so we can also do to speed up things. If you have an object selected, you can always right click it, go to the bottom, then you go select similar objects. Now you'll see it selected both attacks plus the S for us. So this is definitely a quick way to go about. So just to recap, make sure your selection tool is selected. Select your object. You want to select similar objects to you can just right click select select objects. Otherwise, that is it on selecting similar objects we had here to softwaretraining.co.za. We have a variety of different software to cover and also we have this nice little search options so you can actually isolate your search. And then for some reason, you do not find what you're looking for. You can always go. You requested training video well in the mini form. And then we will make a video for you.
