SAi FlexiSTARTER 19 Select Shapes by Their Color (Part 5) Selecting Objects Mini-Series

This is a really handy feature if you were color testing and refining and wanted to do bulk color changes at one time.

Not only that you could also use a unique color for perhaps your building template blocks, and then afterwards simply select them all by color for quick removal.

All right, guys, in today's video Flexes Starter, we're gonna be looking at a feature out to select objects with a similar colour. Before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video Can we find our softwaretraining.co.za z day. This is a miniseries on selecting objects. We'll be covering a few different ways how we can go about it depending on your needs. So I will also leave relevant links in the description so you guys can follow along and in today's video, like you mentioned earlier, we will be looking at how to select objects based on the colour wash your s a similar objects. So, uh, it's rather simple. It's very similar to selecting objects by shape or um yeah, which is where we looked at in a previous video. So first of all, obviously, we will need our selection tool selected, which will be located here on our main tube are just little crossing. And if we had to select the shape Keep in mind. Now it's, um, keeping a colour in mind. So the first way we can do this, we go to our main menu on top here is doing for you guys, and then we go to edit and we'll never get to refund. Select on the select. We want to go to select similar colour. Click that or select every shape or object on your design. Matt, it's got a similar colour. Now another way, We're gonna do that even quicker way we select the shape of the right colour. We just simply right click select, and we go to the bottom, select similar colour. Now select all the yellow farts. So this is a quick way. If you want to just, um, isolate a certain colour. There is another way we can go about it in your main menu, which we've already covered on the falters. This is by far would say, Yeah, quickest way, other way. You can kind of isolates. You can only show the colour, but yeah. So, like I mentioned to select some of the colour selection to select the colour right Click Select. And you got to select some of the colour. Mhm. As we can see, these colours are selected. But keep in mind. As you can see, there did not do the stroke as a stroke, actually falls under similar, um, category of colour because it's a different shape. It's not a full. So that is one thing to keep in mind.
