Moving objects and shapes with the Design Central panel will give you nice and accurate movements.
Another thing to keep in mind whenever you are working within the Design Central panel, is that you are able to use basic math calculations within the values.
This video is part of a Mini-Series.

Hi there, guys. In today's video Flexi Starter, we're gonna be looking at how to move our cheques using the design Central Park. Before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be fun on softwaretraining.co.za hat's here today. We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we have daily updates that was back in the programme here. Now this is a miniseries. For those of you that are new, we're going to be covering the resize move and and rotation tool or ways of retaining objects and so forth. And, uh, we've already looked at re sizing. Now we're gonna look at moving. I will also leave relevant links in the description so you guys can follow a lot. So, like I mentioned in today's video, we're gonna be looking at actually moving objects using our design central panel, which is here on the right for any reason. It is not there. You can always go next to undo and redo your on your standard toolbar, and then we click that icon next to it. So now under this panel, with the object selected, you'll see under the scale panel, we go to the bottom. We've got X and y so this will be for your horizontal and vertical position. Now we click this. As you can see, it will move objects forced. Just keep in mind with them. That's why when you click up, it goes down and down. It goes up sort of confusing. In any case, then what we can do. We can also click in the block and use your mouse wheel. It's a quick way of setting scales or setting a percentage. Sorry, the amounts we can use the arrows we can type in values as well. So you can just got 10. Then we'll set it for you. And then also it does work with math so you can use plus minus times, even percentage so that so we go plus one or 7 to 11. Or we can say, remember, with percentage anything below 100 goes to the negative, which in our case, speak to the left. Everything on top of one underway to the right. So let's say we want to set it back so we go minus. That's a 90% Okay, minus. I'm sorry and put a minus. Just go 90% And then, as you can see, that sets it to the left now, so that is the basics on it. Been in the next video, we're going to be looking at a different way of doing it a bit more FREEHAND. Like I said, this is a nice one. If you have to work with exact values, then you can always use these values to set the adjustment. Or you can set it by hand, and I simply adjust this to fine tune it. Otherwise, if we head here to softwaretraining.co.za uh, we have a variety of different sort of cover. And also, if you do not find the video you're looking for, I am going down the list. You can always isolated here when you look for internal magnifying glass buttons. Otherwise, if you still don't, uh, find anything, you can always get your requested training video. Then we will make that video for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and cheers
