SAi FlexiSTARTER 19 Moving by Freehand (Part 4) Scale, Move and Rotate Mini-Series

flexistarter freehand shapes objects moving

When it comes to moving objects and shapes within FlexiSTARTER, you will seldom want to use anything other than the Freehand.

But with that being said, if you are working on a design that has strict design measurement requirements, then you might have to use the DesignCentral panel.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers Rotating with DesignCentral.
Previous video covered Move with DesignCentral.

by the guys in today's video. Flexi starter. We're gonna be looking at moving objects with free here. Mm. Before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm. Okay. So today is We're gonna be fine on softwaretraining.co.za. That's either. Today we make sure and easy to watch problem solving billions. And we have daily updates. It was back in the programme here. Now, just for those that are new, this is a mini series we're gonna be covering. Move, rotating scale tool. And we've already covered rotate. Uh, sorry scale. And one of the move and waste. So today we're gonna be looking at moving objects with free. And previously we looked at the design central. This is nice, for it's an accurate movements or precise movements where if you're working more concept phases or so forth, then free and is, uh, easier away from me. You guys to do that when I'm select the object. So I make sure your selection tool is selected You on top of the left on our main toolbar. Select object. And then you can simply just click and hold in. As you see, we've got these arrows on our crossing. But make sure it has to be on your shape, and then we can simply move. At the moment. You can see there that little outline, which is where it's gonna go. I can always go to your view on top and then we say show preview then when you move or move the actual object. But I kind of at times prefer to switch it off. So that is a spread, the most simple way the bottom left of our screen close to the start. By here we can see the position of our object. We're moving. And then also what we can do is if we keep shifting, we can try to constrain it to angles. As you can see, a strange constraint horizontally. We are very clear. And then even in the 45 degree angles, another thing we can do is we can use our keyboard arrows so we can go left and right up and down, and then we can move it like that. As you can see, it jumps in and, uh, quite a bit. So what you can do is if you keep shifting this we can do this, you can see it moves it even less so you can do more finer movements. Keep shifting. Otherwise, just moving on me with your arrows. So just a recap where you can select your object moving around your mouth. Keep shifting to try to constrain it. Or you can use your arrow keys left right up and down and then keeping shifting or moving with less amounts. Just keep in mind. If you do keep controlling and try and move it, it's gonna make duplicates of your shape. So, yeah, just keep it any much. Otherwise, that is it on moving objects. Next up, we'll be covering, uh, rotation. But otherwise, you know, if we go here to softwaretraining.co.za hat's the end of the day. Yeah, we've had a variety of different Softwares We do cover. You can also isolate. Just search here with a search box. It's time when you look for it, a little magnifying glass button and then we'll try and find it for you. But if there's no results even after that, you can always go here to request the training video filling in uniform. And then we will make that video for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching until next one. Cheers
