FabriCAM Software CAD Auxiliary Practical Exercise Three (Part 10) Step by Step Video Tutorial

fabricam cad auxiliary exercise

Now that we have covered the basics of the Auxiliary lines, lets have a look at adding some slants.

With adding a slant to your designs you might find that there’s a whole other approach needed.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at practical number three or our cat feature and the subway for the auxiliary lines. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So in today's video, you can find on softwaretraining.co.za z. Uh, we make sure you need to watch training videos. Yeah, Otherwise, if we head here into the programme So now today's practical. We're gonna be looking at creating a line with some spacing, maybe around 10 mil around this line. So we've got a better guide, and also the line must be slanted in some direction, so just gonna take a little bit more calculation, but it's doable. Minus more General, you can be precise. You wanna do that? But it takes up a little bit more time calculating all the maths. So, uh, just a quick recap them for this requirement or this practical. The requirement is a line in the slanted angle having around 10 mil spacing right around. But yeah, otherwise, you can pause here, and when you're ready to see the process I took, if you need to, you can just on pause again. Okay? So if you've tried that, um, there's a few ways we can go about it, but I'm gonna share the method I took. Someone's gonna remove all of this, and then, first of all, I'm gonna add a line. Then I'm gonna go, uh, let's say 100 wide and 20 up then. Uh oh. The second point is gonna start at zero. It's gonna go 100 ciders and about 20 up say, okay. And then we've got our line here. Then what I wanna do is I wanna select this line, go to our auxiliary features, and I'm gonna go to the perpendicular auxiliary line, and I'm just gonna click on the right point. Gonna go to the feature again, okay? I should our first clicks. I'm gonna right click and select our shape, Then go to the future and select on the bottom hot spot. So we've got to sidelines now as a guide. And then what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go on the actual, um, line with distance. I'm gonna say this to 10, or it's already on 10, and then I'm gonna click on the top and then the bottom of that line so we've got these lines. So now all we have to do is try to find the actual, um, line in the middle. So I'm gonna first of all, remove this line calling me first right click, get out of it. Otherwise, I might have created now another guy down one of these. I'm gonna leave it for now. So I'm gonna click the delete, and then what I wanna do is look more or less 10 in on our X. So it's gonna be about year and then go up to about where half is. So that looks so about two. So now I know from this measurement I've got I'm gonna go 10 in, and I'm gonna to up. So now what I'll do on this side, I'm gonna go 10, uh, to the negative and two down from the previous measurement. So if I go, we create a line. Now, if you guys can remember the top of 00 and then we had at the bottom 120. So now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna x in by 10, and then I'm gonna lift this by two. So it should be about there and then with top with the X, I'm gonna bring it in by 10. So it's 90 and then I'm gonna drop 20 by two. So we make that 18. Now, if I say okay, here we go. We get our line in the middle, so maybe not 100% accurate, but yeah, it's quite, uh, close. So yeah, otherwise, that is it. On the process I took now, like I mentioned, there's a few different tools you could use if you wanted to make it a little bit more complex. But this method, I find pretty simple, but yeah, otherwise, in the meanwhile, though, if we had here to softwaretraining.co.za uh, you guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover. And you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking forward. Just simply go. Yeah, request the training video in the uniform, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and just
