FabriCAM Software CAD Dimension Aligned Measurements (Part 2) Step by Step Video Tutorial

fabricam cad dimension aligned measurements

Now from our different Dimensions tool options that we have, we will be looking next at how to get those in-between angles.

This will be a great tool if you looking at not only getting the height or width of and object, but also its Length.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers CAD Dimension – Radial.
Previous video covered CAD Dimension – Linear.

right guys. In today's video, we're gonna be looking at the aligned dimensions for the actual CAD feature. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. And we make short and easy to watch problem solving videos. And we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're heading into the programme here now. In today's programme, like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at the aligned um, dimension. So if I go here to the bottom, we can see we've got this one aligned. Now I'm gonna leave the size the same and, uh, just demonstrate. So let's say now we want to do the actual distance between this line where at the moment with the previous one, we could do the horizontal or vertical like we see this is the height of this line, but it's not the actual length of it. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna select this one, just remove it and then I'm gonna go to the drop down, zoom in a bit, select the line dimension, and then I'm gonna select our first hotspots and zoom in there our second one, and then I'm gonna put this quite a bit out, like over there somewhere. And then you can see we've got now, uh, actual distance of this aligned area. And, uh, how far? What's the length of it Now? You can obviously do the inside here as well. So let's say we go. We select the same tool, we select the top corner, bottom corner. Let's just find that corner. There we go. Then we click where we want this. I'm gonna just do this in about the centre of that. So we've got an idea there, So it tells you the actual, uh this is between those two points. Now, this is convenient because, uh, unfortunately, not everything works off just horizontal and vertical planes. We have to have the in betweens as well. And this one will be very handy when it comes to those type of angles. But yeah, otherwise, that is it on the dimensions for the line. If we head here to, um softwaretraining.co.za. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, and request the training video. Fill in the mini form, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
