FabriCAM Software Adding Auto Cad Markings in the Design (Part 1) Step by Step Video Tutorial

When it comes to adding those design markings within your design it is a rather simple in practice.

guys in today's video on fabric Cam, We're gonna be looking at how to add markings for our cat from our machine settings. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. And we make short and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise we're head back into the programme. So now in this video, like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at adding markings to your actual fabric cam software or to the parts. And this will be done. Um, firstly, in AutoCAD. So you will be setting up markings and then exporting it and opening it in fabric can. Now what you're gonna do is with your marking selected. Make sure you set your the text that you've added. Make sure you set it to mark in AutoCAD. Otherwise, it's not gonna work correctly. And then what you do is you just simply then go into your fabric cam, and then we want to go on the configuration machine and then under markings. We wanna make sure we activate both these settings that's available for it. Say apply in account, and next up, we're gonna make a new sheet. So we have a base to work off. And then I wanna open those, uh, uh, shapes that we have exported from autocad. And then we open that just put a two and then we quickly add those and then next up, we're gonna quickly nest them. Just wait for that to load, OK? And now we've got our actual shapes with our marks. And so if we go here to the N C, which is a just the speed, let's see, maybe a little bit faster. OK? Now, if we zoom in here, you can see we've got the marking here at the bottom left. So this is great for afterwards, we can see the product numbers and then, um, you'll see once it's done with that one, we'll do the next one and also do the marking first, which is very, um, convenient. But yeah. So otherwise that is it on how we can actually, uh, add markings in fabric can. So, like I mentioned, first of all, we wanna make sure we, uh, set it to. Right, um, we can almost say layer type in uh, autocad. And then from there we just want to make sure our markings are activated inside fabric camp. And then it should work correctly.
