With the CAD Arc Three Points tool you will notice how handy it is when we use a few guide shapes.

Now when it comes to the Three Points Arc tool, it can get a bit tricky to work with it at first.

All right, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at our three point arc feature or option available within the cat feature, and this will be four favorite camp software. But before that, let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure an easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates otherwise went into the programme here. So now in today's video, like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at the three point arc. But just zooming here, we can see um, this is another. Connect the dots. So we looked at the arc. There's two options earlier. Now we're looking at the first one, which is the first connected data, which is arc three points. So now this option here or feature needs three points in order to work as the name will suggest. So I could use it with this because there's four points on this actual design. But for what I want to demonstrate, so it makes more sense. I'm gonna just changes a bit. So we've got two lines. I think they are 50 by 50 and 50 apart. So what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna add another line quick in the centre of them. Let's make, uh, the height of this one. I'm gonna make 25 25. So in the centre, then, um, I'm gonna make this one also end at 25 and then we're gonna minus another 25 so we're gonna go to a negative 25. So let me just try that negative 25 and then we say, Okay, let's just see what we have. Okay, there we go. That's what I'm looking for. So now let's say you wanted to take these two shapes and create a, like, a form of, uh, rounding on the side. Then we can always use guides. Now, depending on where you place, your guide will also determine how this goes. So what I wanna do is I'm gonna make sure I select the Ark three points. Then get my first point. Have it highlighted. Let's just zoom in here. But so, uh, highlights better. Let's try that again. I'm gonna go to the tool. There we go. Select the first point, and then the next point we're selecting the second point is where it's gonna arc tube. It's gonna all the way to that shape back to this shape. As you can see that it's a nice little lock. So let's say we wanted to do in the opposite direction. Then you would make sure this guy extra is passed to the right amount. So I'm gonna do this. Now go over here, click on this ark. Click on the guide. So I click on the line, click on the guide and then click on the other side. And there we go. We've got it on the opposite side. Now you can obviously remove this and then do it according to you. So if you want to do this, one are both sides. Then we would go extra 25. So we'll go all the way over and minus the 25 year, and then we should get a nice full circle. I mean, rounding with the over. But yeah, so in any case, that is how that works. You can obviously, like I mentioned earlier to connect some of these arcs. You'll get some weird results by show you quick. So let's say we take this point. We wanted to arc around this point, and then we can either choose here or there. If I choose here, it's gonna change the size of the Ark. So I'm gonna go to this bottom one. Click there and you can see now, oxide, nicely touching that one all the way to there. And I have multiple creative ways. You could use this, get different designs. But this is the base of how that one works. So you're basically only three points the middle point. But you want it touches when it asks if it's two parallel, I just won't do anything, but yeah, otherwise, that is it. On the Ark. Three points If we head here to softwaretraining.co.za. Guys will notice. We've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top of right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video filling the reform, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and cheers
