flexiprint custom object guides

When it comes to guides within FlexiPRINT, there are two approaches we can take.

From these different approaches, we have the more standard line feature, and then the custom object feature.

guys. In today's video, we're gonna be looking at how to add custom guides with in Flix the Print. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be put on softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A. We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Now I fade back into the programme here. Now, like I mentioned today, we'll be looking at some custom guides. So by now you might be used to the normal guides. Where we click on these rulers, we drag them in, and then we can, uh, adjust the guides accordingly. Now, sometimes you might need custom guides. So maybe a circle or something like that, then, um, these ones will come in handy. So in order to do that, let's just show I'm gonna grab a few different shapes. So let's grab a rectangle, then. I'm also gonna create the call so that and let's grab a text tool as well. So, uh, let's just call this text scales up so we can see the variations now, in order to, uh, convert this into guides. It's pretty straightforward. We can, uh, simply go to our arrange menu on top. Then let me zoom here for you guys. Then we wanna navigate down to we find guides and then go to the right here where you can see here, make guides. We have three options, release guides and lockouts. So with that object selected, I'm gonna click Make guide. And as you can see now, that shape has turned into a guide. It's pretty handy. Not seen many programmes do this, but, um, it is pretty cool, really like the idea. Because now, if you're gonna snap to guides and so forth, then this, uh, becomes very handy. Now, obviously, we can go to our guides and we can release it and it'll turn it back to a shape, and we can also lock it. So if you want to lock it in place to select these three, then, uh, we go to range guides make guides and I can see all three of these has now turned into guides which we can use within our design to, um, better direct the direction of the design, but yeah, otherwise, that is it. On custom guides, Like I say, pretty handy, um, little feature to have but yeah, in the meanwhile, if we head here to softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A you guys will notice We've got a variation of different Softwares We do cover. And you can also isolate your search here on the top, right? If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go. Yeah, request the training video, fill in the mini form and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
