VinylCut 5 Software Re-Editing Rhinestone Designs (Part 5) Rhinestones Video Mini-Series

At times you can find the final Rhinestone effect leaving you with unwanted results.

When this happens we can re-edit the Rhinestones by moving, deleting or even adding stones, and then simply turn the edits back into Rhinestones.

This is a Mini-Series on Rhinestones. Next video we’ll be looking at making a Rhinestone Outline for your Rhinestone design.

Okay, guys, In today's video final cut, we'll be looking at editing Rhinestones after you've applied the effect. This is a quick intro here, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Uh uh. You guys will find that we do a variety of different Softwares, and we upload videos daily, so keep your eye there for the new content. Otherwise we're back in the programme. Yeah. Now I'm just a reminder This is a miniseries on the Rhinestones, so I will put relevant links in the description to some previous videos and so forth. But now anyway, So, like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at editing Rhinestones after we've applied the effect. So let's say you've got your why is that affect you like okay? And we know it on top here. There's three little stones and there's only two, and we want to be a bit more symmetrical. So then what we can do first of all, is we select our shape. Then we go to object on top, we go down to break apart or control B. After we've done this, you will notice that it throws it all into one. Folders were open this there's just many, many little stoats. But then a while editing a few good tips is to zoom. So we're close. And then also, we were using the selection tool here on the left, a large then all your basic functions, like copy based and all of that the lead also work. So if you want to remove stones that you don't like or add new words, but in our case, we're just kind of, uh, make the same ones on the other side. So I'm gonna zoom in. You can either click on your zoom to and use these top buttons, or what you do is some halting as well. And you just use your mouth wheel and, uh, there was zooming for you, and then it's gonna move up here, and then I'm gonna select my selection tool. Let's grab this side, select around those stones, and then just press the delete on your keyboard. Then, are we selecting these, uh, control C and then, um or you can go to edit copy, and then we go to paste in place, which we control shift the Now I'll go back to my move tool without selected. Then I will move it. Keeping the horizontal access. Mm. Restraint. So this is very called horizontal. Click that and then I can move it. And then I just kind of I look okay, that's after the third dot from the inside. It's about that much cadet. And now, if we zoom out, we can see there. That looks no, it's way more symmetrical. And then what you can do is a I'm just gonna put these little that he wants back in the folder. So on our layers menu, you're on the right, you can select them or you can drag a selection box over the three. We click and drag moving on to the folder till it gives us that little box with the white in A If it's just black and it's gonna put it under the follow it like this, we leave, We'll see you there, not in the fold. Then what we can do. We select our shape again, and then we go again to the bricks. We basically want to go back to Rhinestone, so fix navigate down to Rhinestones, then this important part. Just make sure your size, Same size selected again. Okay, so it s 12. And now you can leave full shape, full shape of stones and all of the settings just as it is. Don't have to adjust that preview. And as you can see there now, it has updated it back to Rhinestones. Click OK, and then you go. Now Rhinestones is more symmetrical, but it is still Rhinestones. Cool.
