How are you guys? In today's video final cut. We'll be looking at how to add a Rhinestone outline to your Rhinestone design. Let's have a quick intro here. Yeah, So today's video. Can we find our softwaretraining.co.za y? Uh, we are uploading videos daily, so keep our eye there for any new content. Otherwise, back in the programme here. Now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries and Rhinestones. So just look at the description and you can find some links to some previous tutorials. Um, yeah, we've got quite a lot to cover. And this is, uh, not quite a beginner tutorial. So definitely make sure you run through the first ones before you get to this. So you guys, what we're gonna do is so we've got these two little gears here. The left one. I'm just gonna put a border of the same size stone and on the right one here, we'll put a border. It's got bigger stones. So if you wanna, um, do that, you know, it's something to keep in mind. We're gonna be using the shadow, uh, effect, and that only works in millimetres. So make sure you go to your page properties here on the right. We navigate units and we said two millimetres. Their next up. We wanna find out what sizes are the stone is gonna be. So you always go to effects when we go to Ryan Stones. And in my case, I'm gonna be using, um, 11. So as you can see here, the size is three millimetres, and the stone spacing is two millimetres. So then, uh, let's quickly create a drop shadow or a shadow. So we're gonna go to effects. We go to Shadow Layer or Contour. Cut. Now, what you wanna do here, let's just We can just set the colour. I'm gonna make my purple so we can see the difference, then your size. Here, you wanna add your stone size and spacing together. So the stone sizes three in the space of two millimetres. So five million metres altogether say okay. And then now let's quickly apply it. So with our gear selected that we want the main Rhinestones, we go to Rhinestones. Sorry, I'm going a bit quicker. It's trying to cover a lot. Then at any time you can just pause and rewind if you want. Anyways, Let's click preview. I'm gonna choose full and then a preview again. So okay, now, with our shadow layer selected so we can just click on our layers panel here, then we're gonna do the same thing. We're gonna do a fix, go to Rhinestones. We navigate to the size, which will be 11. We say adjust spacing to fit. Power covered that in a previous tutorial. Okay, now you can see you've got a nice little outline. But you know, in most cases you actually want to make the outline the largest stones, so you can use different ones. So now let's do the same method. So it's really locate. Just the stones sigh. So I'm gonna make mine. It's a 22. So this is 5.10 millimetres. That's the stone size. So now, in order to do this, we go to effects, we go to Shadow Lay again. So now what we want to do is add the new stone size plus the spacing, so it will be 5.2 plus two. So that's seven point. Sorry. 5.10 plus two. So at 7.10, etcetera colour quick purple say okay. Then with our news movements into the same follow without gear selected. We've got your backs, Rhinestone. We go to the Rhinestone for the gear. Was 11. This time I'm going to just make it a part so we can outline. Say Okay, now we click here for the shadow layer. Go to effects again. Rhinestone. This time we go to the S s 22 5.10. There we go. The same Adjust spacing to fit path preview, you say Okay. And there you go. You've got a smaller standing inside large on the outside. Now you can play around with your shadow. Um, the shadows size if you feel like you wanna get the spacing a bit closer. But in general, there's a good math to keep a consistent spacing. So you just basically adding for the shadow, the stone size plus it's space. So if you're spacing smaller, use a smaller spacing sucks. Otherwise, uh, if you guys go to final cut dot c dot c a. Then you can find, um, the programme is freely available there and just go to the downloads page. If we navigate to softwaretraining.co.za r a then, um yeah.
