The undo function is used to reverse a mistake, such as moving the wrong object or deleting the wrong shape.

Alright, guys, in today's video final cut, we've been looking at the undo and redo feature before that. Let's have a quick intro first. Mhm. Otherwise, we go back in the programme. Yeah, Now most of us, we know what these buttons do. But if you're watching this video chance are you know it's for a reason. So, in any case, the undo and redo buttons, That's pretty my opinion, One of the most, uh, two of the most used, um, features in all programmes. Yeah, you sometimes wish real life at it, but indicates So what are the basic of it is the undue obviously undo something that you've done can be various things, from movements to changing properties and so forth and redoing. Obviously, if you've done it too far, then you can redo it. So let's have a quick demonstration. And, uh, also there is three ways we can do it and I'll be showing you all three. Let's create a little circle or something here, canvas. And then let's say you moved it and you don't like the current position. You want it back to the centre again. Then what you do is on the top here. We've got this little arrows, so undo and you'll see, really do is great out. Only once you've undone something once or at least once, then you can only redo. So now if we click undo, you will see it will move it back to our previous positions until we get that sent. No, let's say you realise. Okay. No, you can't say step too far. Then you can just click a redo button and move back. Now that same way, let's say moved it. Then another way, we're gonna do this. You got to your edit menu on top and you'll see we've got here. Do you can click there and you will undo it the same way you can go to edit and go read it. Kick that and I'll put it back where it was. Now, if you don't make many mistakes in your work or you don't need to undo a lot, then these two buttons on top here will work just fine. But if you're into shortcut keys and you like a very fast workflow which I would recommend most people should use, um then you can use your shortcut keys. And most, uh, there's normally a very universal especially for undo redo. Some programmes will vary it, but for under your press control plus Z or Z, and then they will undo. So you keep control in while controls in you press. Um uh, keep as you can see that and does the undo that you're gonna redo. You'll keep control, but shift and then present. Then they will redo it. So control plus Zeps under control shift should read. Like I said, I would highly recommend encourage you to get used to the shortcut keys because and you use it so often.
