How are you guys? In today's video final cut, We'll be looking at the draught tool and how to draw straight lines with the two. She doesn't have a quick intro. Yeah, Yes. Mm. Well, today's video can we find on softwaretraining.co.za ? That's the other day. We have a variety of different software to recover, and we upload videos daily, so keep an eye out for any new content. There was reared back in the programme. Yeah. Now, do you locate your draw tool? You will navigate to the side toolbar here, and then select the little one that looks like a pen short cocky, for this is P. So if you select that, then you've got your tool selected. I've got some, uh, curves and stuff we can work with, but we'll do that in another tutorial lesson. This one will just be covering the basics of drawing, um, straight lines with it. So now just start off. If you click with your mouse button and then you take your mouth to another area, click and then if you press enter or escape, it will close that path, rather finalise that path for you. Let's just set the path of it. Okay, so we can see it. So as you can see here now, we've got, like, a basic straight path. Now, if you wanna add more than one point, you can do the same thing you left click, and then you move where you want. Your next point you click. Move to the next point, and you can just carry this on. It's all you kind of happy with the result. Yeah. Then you press enter or escape, and then it will make that into a path as well. Uh, let's say you wanna constraint the path, so you want to make sure it's exact, um, lines horizontally and vertically and 45. Then what you can do is if we click here, we keep shifting. Then, as you can see, it's restraining near the horizontal access. If we take it to the top vertical, and then we can get the 45. So this is nice if you want to do a bit more box like shapes. Okay, without a as soon as that is a good note, as soon as you click and drag, it will turn it into a curve. Like I said, we'll cover that in another video. So if that happens, then, uh, means you move your mouse while clicking. So let's try that again and keep shifting. Click shift. I can't even get out of here and then once again escape or enter. And there, we've got a rather straight lights. Now let's say you want to make a shape with a full insight. So you want to basically complete, uh, path. So it has a full You know what? I'm gonna do the same as before. But now this time you wanna go all the way back to your starting point and then when you hover your mouse over that point, as you can see, if I just zoom in the cross, it changes and gets a little square. Okay, Doesn't matter. Then, if you click while it's got a little square, it will make complete the path. Now, if we go here under our fill and stroke, we can see you can set the colour of the full, and it has a full. So yeah, that's the basics on the pen tool. And like I said, in a future video, we'll be covering the busier curve. So the path curves and then how to work with that? Otherwise, if we just head to our website here, you guys never get to softwaretraining.co.za. Uh, you can find this video and more like it.
