Being able to change a page’s background color is a great way to separate designs with a visual reference.

It is also a handy tip to know when you are working on a white design and you unable to see the design because of the white background.

How are you guys in today's video? I'll cut. We'll be looking at page colours, but let's just quickly have a intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. That's the other Today you guys will know that we've got a variety of different Softwares. We recover, and also we upload videos daily. So just keep an eye out for any new content. Otherwise, we're back in the programme here now page colours. This is a handy tool. Let's say you're working on a project rather large. It's got multiple pages and you can use it as kind of a visual cue to remember what you're doing. So when you're on each page, you colour them different. So then you quickly understand. Okay, Now I'm on this page or the page. That's the one, um, where you can use it in other ways that say you're working on a white design and your page is white, and then it's rather hard to read it. So instead of working on making it black or something, or a darker colour than inverting it later, the quickest way is just to make a new page so we can have a look at both quick. So let's say the first one is you're working on multiple pages and you just want, like, a visual cue to remember. Then what you wanna do is first go to your document properties, which is a little paper icon. Then we navigate to the bottom where it says show page colour by default. We also we'll switch that on and you click on this little colour box next to it. But I'll just see. But yeah, it is there. And then from the pop up menu here, you can pick colours. You can see you've got a but pellets here, which you can be a website and that if you're into those type of colour palettes, it restricted, though for me. But in any case, if your Web design does help, but that's not relevant to this topic. So on top year we've got a basic precepts, so you can easily just click from these to quickly loaded. But keep in mind, the more uh, saturated colours are so this is very de saturated, so this is very saturated, the harder it gets to read your designers so forth, so I would recommend from my personal experience. Keep the colours, Robert. Low saturated. You can always play with the values of all the brightness. So as you can see this little block down a small black up, it's more white and to the right is more saturated left less. So if you're going to be picking cars, I would say Play around these, um, areas, Right? So let's just have a look. Let's make this a pinkish colour. Okay, Now you can see your background is another colour. Like I said, if you have a few pages and you said in different colours, you very quickly can make a visual connexion and remember Okay, it was on the blue page or on the red page Or so far and then, obviously, if we let's say we are working with a white design. Mhm. Let's change the colour quick. Mm, mhm. It's supposed to white. Okay, now, as you can see, this is a rather difficult one to work with. Like I said, you can select your design and in with the colours. But sometimes it's even hard just locating it. So then what you can do once again, we got two little document. We go show page colour. Select that. And now you can make this a darker colour. I would say, instead of going complete black, if you know you've only been working on some white, then it looks good. Otherwise, you can just offset the value a little bit. Then it makes it more readable. But like I said, if your entire design is going to be white, then sometimes this is nice and you go to quite a dark colour you can easily see with a nice contrast what's happening Otherwise, Yeah, that is a show based colours. It's quite a useful tool for visual cues. And if you're working on white designs, otherwise you guys go to soft. Sorry. Final cut. Uh um And you hate to the downloads page.
