TruCUT RDWorks the Not Enough Extend Space Error (Part 9) Tips and Tricks Mini-Series

rdworks not enough extend space error

When you get the Not Enough Extend Space Error message, then that means your laser needs some space.

The laser has a slowdown distance that it travels depending on its speed, and if there is not enough space for it to slow down, it will give you this error message.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.

are you guys today we're gonna be looking at if you get an error that says not enough extended space and this was before trick that already works. But before that, let's go into the first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates otherwise back in the programme. Yeah, now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the tips and tricks, and I will also leave relevant links in the description that have actually follow along. Now, when you get this area error on your machine for your laser cutting device, LCD, um, it normally means, let's say you've got a design on your panel has to cut, but there's not enough space on the side for your laser cutter to slow down and come back because in general what happens is your laser cutter cuts in one way, and then when it's done, it still needs some space very little, But to slow down, turn around, come back, and then this side is gonna need some space to slow down again. Turn around come back cuts. So basically as like, a slowdown amount that it needs. So now what happens if this is set to zero? It might give you this era or if it's anything, maybe under five millimetres could, depending on your speed of your machine that you've said it to. But in general, this is what this means. So it gives you not enough extended space error. Then it means it is kind of cutting too close to the edges. And there's no, uh, space to slow down. So what you can do is on your machine, you can always just set your origin. You said it from zero and zero because it's both access. You can set it to maybe five millimetres. And then you just hit the origin button again. You can even try 10. If we go under the test here on a control panel, you will see here we have the origin, the offset at the moment. It is 10 millimetres there. So you can also try settlers to 10 if it gives you that error and see 5 to 10 millimetres to paying your speed and then see if that works. But yeah, otherwise, that is it on the not enough extended space error? If we had to go here to the website softwaretraining.co.za you guys will notice We've got a variety of different software to recover, and also you can isolate your search on top of right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for. Just go here because the training video filling the mini form. And then we'll do our best to try and make that video for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and cheers.
