Hey, guys, in today's video flexi starter, we're gonna be looking how to select and deselect all the objects on your designer. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yeah, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we have daily updates. Otherwise, back in the programme here and now. For those of you that and you just reminded, this is a miniseries where we've been covering selecting objects and uh, a few different ways to go about it. Today's video is gonna be rather simple. It's to select everything on your mat and also how to de select it. Now there's a few different times you would want to use this sometimes if you want to fresh start, you want to select everything or let's say you want to move everything to a new position, and it's also a good method. But like selecting everything, it is good to know how to de select, um, everything. Otherwise, you're constantly having those things active. So what we can do for starters to select everything, we can go to our main menu on top. Then we go to edit and we navigate down till we find select and under select. You can see here we've got select all and a shorter key for those control pay. Now keep in mind this is quite universal. It's not 100% but in most programmes, most people use control A to select. So if we click that now, as we can see, everything is selected. If I had to click here and move removing a whole object or everything I selected now to deselect, obviously we can go to a similar to the same place. We're gonna go to our main menu edit navigate down to where you found select and then right under that we've got the selector, as you can see control shift A. So it's the same as control ages. We're gonna add the shift. So if we click this and you can see it is just the selected everything. So this is a great method and also just a little I don't wanna say pro tip should be common sense. But for those of you who don't know if we go, let's say control a. We've got everything selected to a quick way to de selected. Just click somewhere on white canvas where there's no graphics, and, as you can see, it will de select everything for us. But if you use the short turkey, sometimes just almost just as quick. So you've got to control shift A. Also control A and the control shift a diesel. Like I said, this is handy If let's say you want to do everything on your design like let's say you want to scale it or rotate it or something like that because sometimes I will be working on a design small to get idea of it. Then you can just select all re scale it to the right size. So yeah, that is it on selecting and de selecting all. It's a nice little short, you know, because you do end up using it quite a lot, especially in a varied amount of design programmes. Otherwise, if we had yet to softwaretraining.co.za n today, we have a variety of different Softwares. We do cover, and also we have this nice little search option here. So if you guys are looking for anything specific, it was just typing here. What you're looking for Hit a little magnifying glass button and we'll find it for you. Otherwise, if you don't find what you're looking for, you can always go here to request a training video, then fill in the many formal. Then you will make that for you. Otherwise, thanks, guys watching and cheers.
