SAi FlexiSTARTER 19 Software Deskew Tool how to Straighten Skew Images in the Program

So often you find that a scanned image comes out a bit skew when you finally import it to your program.

Now with the Deskew tool you are able to quickly straighten those images again via horizontal or vertical angles, and not only that but the tool works on objects and shapes as well.

How are you guys in today's video? Flexes Starter. We're gonna be looking at how to disc you objects and images before that. Let's have a quick intro first, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates. But otherwise we're back in the programme here now to dis que objects. Um, the reason why you would want to use this, Let's say, for instance, you stand imaging or something in that line, but it was not properly lined up in the actual scanner. So now you sitting here with a skewer image. So instead of manually trying to rotate it and using maybe a guideline and so forth to try and get the right horizon, you can just quickly use the dis cute too. So, by zooming here now, this will work on objects as well and shape. So if you actually rotate the shape, you want to get the right horizontal line again. You can also do this. But then how you wanna located as she gets your main menu on top, go to arrange and they want to navigate down until we find this queue. Now, if we go to the right here, we'll see we've got two options. We've got the horizontal and vertical so you can kind of dis cute according to a horizontal line or a vertical line. So I'm gonna go horizontal and they were disc use and to selected. You wanna click your horizontal line where you want to start, you simply drag it across Zuma. Now, at the moment, it is snapping quite well to this, um, horizontal line on top. But sometimes it's not very accurate. So then you just wanna make sure you go past it and then you go So you find where you like the horizontal line, I will try. Snap it. You know, it's not quite accurate. Maybe a little bit after we go about year. And then when you leave your mouse button, it will matter. You make that image straight, which is a very handy to save you a lot of time. So let's just quickly skew it again. They quickly go arrange the skew shape selected. Arrange. The school tried to have vertical quick the same thing you select your starting point. Okay, now, I just snapped it off to the left. And now what you can do is you kind of just look at the white spacing between the image and the line. You try and make that exactly the same. Then once you've clicked, you'll see it will realign the image for you. So this is a rather quick and simple way to quickly realign things. So when you're working on especially scanned images, they tend to be a bit off. I've always put most of the time and then otherwise, yeah, that is that on the skewing objects.
