Without the ability to be able to move the view and Design Area, makes it nearly impossible to work up close to a design.
Using the Pan View or Scroll Bars will help you to be able to work up and close to a design to get to those finer details.
This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers the Swatch Table.

Hi there, guys. In today's video with Flexi Starter, we'll be looking at the scroll bars, plus panning in the view. But let's start with a quick intro first so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. You guys on this, we've got a variety of different software to do cover, and also we upload videos daily. So just keep your eye there for any content. Otherwise, we're back in the programme here. Now, just a reminder. This is a miniseries on the user interface. So I will leave you guys some relevant links in the description so you can follow along. But today's video, Like I said, we're going to be looking at the scroll bars plus and pan view features. Now, this will be used to basically navigate your mat or canvas based on your design area, too. So, while you're working so first of we've got, um, the navigation bars. If I could just zooming here, you can see. Imagine I'm working on this design and I need to work on designed to the right. What did you get there? You know, I need to actually move this whole design or rather the matter. I'm not moving the design. I'm just moving the view of the design. So first of all, we've got the horizontal and vertical um uh, scroll bars so the horizontal will be at the bottom. If I click that one and move it, you'll see I'm actually moving my view of my met around to the right and the left. And then if I go to the vertical one, which will be on the right, then we can move it up and down. Now, as you can see this what these ones are not too. So they are rather quite sensitive. So a little movement does a lot now, another way we can do this is to actually use the pan view. This isn't Storey more commonly used for designers that use most design programmes. So your pan view selected you can just click on your canvas and move around. Yeah, I can see it actually moves it. But once you've diesel left it, you'll see it goes back to your selection too. So what you can do quick access is, um you just, um pretty spice ball and you can move it around and even just keep Spaceballs in, and then it will stay on this tour for you, so that is a handy way to quickly pan your view around. And there's another way, which I like to use often. And that is, you use your middle mouse button so the mouse wheel and what you do instead of willing it, you'll just press it down and hold it in. Then we'll create these little sparrows if you move in the direction it will pan into that way. As you can see, this is even more or even less sensitive than the actual and the pan view, which was already less sensitive than this. So this one, you can move, but now with the middle one and move even slower. So if you have to do fine adjustments, this is also a great one. It's the one I tend to use more often. MM. Zoom out there and you can recenter it. And then, uh, so that is the basics on the scroll bar and painting view. You'll be using this a lot if you're working with designs. Very few people just stay at one zoom Level two or final completion, sometimes with a final details need to zoom in and work on it and pan it right. But otherwise, if we navigate here to, uh, training God Seattle today you guys can find this video and more like it. And like I mentioned earlier, where we have a variety of different started to recover. And if you guys don't finally looking forward just can't stop you to the search option. And then you can isolate your search, Looking for anything specific. Otherwise we still come dry and then find what you're looking for. You can go here, request the training video. Then if you select that, then you can send a request. And then we will make that video for you. Otherwise, thanks, guys, for watching until next one. Cheers.
