Bye, guys. In today's video of Flexi Starter, we're gonna be looking at a few hot keys you can use when creating shapes. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yeah, yeah, So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure and easy to watch problem solving videos and also we have daily updates otherwise, back in the programme here now, just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on working with shapes and I will leave relevant links and description so you guys can follow along. So in today's video, we're gonna be looking at hot keys. So then, just to make your life more simple, it's basically constraining shapes or deciding kind of where the shape is going to be created from its origin point. So obviously before that, we want to have a shape selected. So you've got your mind to ball, and then you can click your shape, obviously keep in if it's got a little arrow and choose a different shape if you want, but I'm just gonna keep it on the rectangle. So now yeah, I've also dark mine on top here. Exciting access them quickly. In order to do that, you can simply just click and hold and move your mouse while it's still you still holding the left mouse button in. Just move it past and gives you that option, and you can choose where you wanna dock it. But as you can see, mine is already dark, so let's just throw that there. Maybe remove the system so distracting. Okay, so now, with rectangle selected, we normal click with our mouse button. You'll see. It creates us a rectangle with free form so you can basically go wherever you want to make it the way you want it. All the dimensions you want. You can see the dimensions on the bottom left. If you're not sure, no or on the top. Design central Now we can do is if you keep controlling all these roads shifts. If you keep shifting, it will restrain the the horizontal and vertical, so basically keep it proportional to each other. So basically we're making a square now. So this is, um, it obviously works with, Let's say, uh, beer as well, so just normal clicking will create an oval and you keep it in shifting, you see, will make a perfect circle. So that is, uh, if we had to use a shift, what will happen? So now let's say we go to the rectangle again now if we are to use control so it actually creates a shape from the origin of our mouths course where it started. So in other words, if my mouse is here, where normally that will be the point, if I keep controlling, it will make that point. The centre of the object, which is can be quite handy at times as well. And now as you might have guessed it, if you combine control plus shift, it will use this point as the origin. But restraining the um resulted in vertical sizes as well, keeping their proportions. So, uh, it's not nothing too special, but it is good to know you can come in quite handy at times. But otherwise that is it on the hot keys or good ones to know when you're making shapes. Otherwise, if we had here to softwaretraining.co.za. You guys are not to get a variety of different Softwares will recover, and also you can isolate your search on the top of right here. If you do not, however, find what you're looking for, You can always go here, request a training video still in the mini form. And then, yeah, we'll make that video for you, but otherwise thanks, guys again and cheers.
