When it comes to the output of a trace the Break Apart Outlines, Blackout and Add Image Layer will be of great help.
We’ll be looking at tracing images as single layers all the way to a group trace with multiple layers, and then also how to add an image to the final trace in case you making stickers.
Hi there, guys. In today's video, the final cut will be covering the second portion of the output settings for the trace image function. Just have a quick intro. Yeah, Yeah. Okay. Just a reminder. This video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Uh, we, um, have a variety of different sources recover, and we upload videos daily, so occupy therefore any new content. Otherwise, we're back in the programme here. Just a reminder. This is a follow up of a seriously doing regards to the trace image feature. So we have videos before this, and after this that you can follow and you look at the description. You can see a few links to some of the videos. Otherwise, for those that are new, just remember your you locate your trace. Um, feature here by this icon, the landscape and his trace. So we have already covered the output settings, smooth detail and line threshold. Now we'll be covering the break apart. Outlines black out and add image layer control cut or print cut. Sorry. So the first thing let's locate our trace. The image which were already dead then. So the first one and break apart outlines now Basically, what happens is if we had to trace this image. So let's just do this quick, quickly. Okay. Hi, Text. Now, you can see on our actual, um, layers, uh, panel that the image with traces a single layer so we can move us around and, uh, can't edit those shapes individually. If we just remove this, it's got your trace again, Like the image. Now, if you say break apart here at the bottom, basically, what they will do is all the shapes that can become a shape of the trace will be broken apart into separate layers. At the moment, we have a layer for the circle in the centre outlined and the block. So if, uh, it's okay, Now we see here, we've got a folder, and if we open the fall of the year, we will find all those layers. So, yeah, we've got the cube in the inside circle, which has changed the colour. Then you can see it's a layer of its own and then the outside big circle. So that is basically what break apart does. And then I see the next on our list here. If we got to trace to select our input again as we have blackout. Now what black I will do is if there's any holes or gaps on your images, it will fill it So we say black out. Or let's just keep it off with a preview and you'll see it will basically make it like the first one. We did well be a circle the hole in the middle of the square. We say black out. Any holes will be filled. Now you can see there is no longer cut lines in the centre. So if we say okay, you will see it as centre is no longer there. Then the last option we have here is, uh she selected graphics with actual Uh, the last one we have is at image layer print cut. So what this will do? Is we just without adding that say, Okay, then it will just make a just hold for on so we can make a cut line on the outside. It will just make a cut with a basic shape. So if you're cutting out of Ionel just a single colour, that's fine. But if you want to print this and cut it, then, um, make sure this option is selected at Image Layer Print plus cut. Now, if we say okay, you will see it adds the graphics to the Matt. But it also includes the cut lines. So if we've got to get preview now, we can see there. We've got the cut lines as well. So you can say show principal and then you can see both. Alright, Yeah, that is the basics on the show, I said the settings on the second half of the output settings Let's just quickly go to the website here. Do you guys navigate your softwaretraining.co.za r Teal? You can find this video more like it. Guys will notice.
