VinylCut 5 Software Offset Path Shapes Inner or Outer Distance, Step by Step Video

Do you have vector shapes or cut-lines that are just too thin or thick in its overall size?

Using the Offset Path Feature allows you to add a bit more body to that just to skinny cursive text, or remove some body from a shape or text that has just too much bass.

Hi guys. In today's video that I'll cut. We'll be looking at the offset path feature. Just have a quick intro here. Well, today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Therefore, any new content otherwise, back in the programme here and now the offset paths. It's quite a handy future. You can use it on different shapes. I'll be just demonstrating it on a text for this purpose for the sample. Um, yeah, but basically what you can do is you can grow the size of your text or your shape or reduce it. So let's just quickly Look, let's say we select our outline tax here and then to locate it. You can go on top year to path, and then we go down to offset path. Now, if we zoom in here, Yeah, all right. Just first said it so we can zoom while we're busy. So, in any case, so if we, uh, look here, we can see so far, this is gonna be the current offset so it's gonna increase the text by this much. And yeah, that will be the new shape.
