With so many artist and companies using PDF’s these days, being able to import them is a must.
The great thing about transporting your designs as PDF’s is that they support multiple pages, so no more need to import lots of graphic files but only one.
that was the guys in today's video. I'm going to be showing you guys how to import pdf files in vinyl cut five. Otherwise, just a quick intro here. Mm. So this video and more videos like this can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Let's hear that zebra. Uh, we upload videos daily there, so just keep iPhone the new content. Otherwise, we're back in the programme here. Now, uh, the nice thing about if your file is already in a pdf I mean, most of the time, it's gonna be, uh, Victor already, you do get cases where it's not, but a lot of artists like to save. The designers like to save the logos and stuff are getting pdf as well. So then, if you're working with one of those files, then yeah, to to import it will be navigating to the top year to import. And then from, uh, just locate your pdf that you want to actually import. Now, if you have a file, it's got, let's say, more than one page. It's like grab this one. So now if you're imported, you'll see it pops up this little import pdf box. It will only happen if you have more than one page, so then you can choose which page you want to import. What on? So let's say first page we can import those graphics. Remove that, and then what you can do is you can open another page at the bottom, and then you go once again import select the same graphics. Then now you'll navigate your Page two. Now you will notice. Now you can import the other graphics on the other page. So that is the basics. If you have more than one page, let's just quickly see. Let's say you only have one, um, page on your pdf. Then if we select, it will see it will pop you up. No dialogue or no import box or just go straight imported in MM. And then you have your graphics there. Let's say you import your file and, like mine is, um, from I think it was the site, his brother or something like that. It's all free, pdf files. So then you can do Let's say you don't wanna now print the actual, so if we got to print preview, you don't want to print the actual name of their company then what you can do is if you look on your groups here. Mm. They have all the letters and stuff I got individually. But now, because it's a group can't quite selected because it selects all page. So then to, um But in order to select that and to remove it will first wanna, um, group the school graphics. In order to do that, we'll go here to object. Then we go down to one group, and the shortcut is control shift G. So we select that now you'll notice. Oh, we should be able to. Okay, it looks like they might have grouped it more than once. So you go again, Object. A group. Now she built Select this graphics individually. Yes. So now you can just make a selection box over that, your leaky and then there you've got your graphics ready for print without the logo on top. Otherwise, yeah, that is the basics of importing PDFs. So we're somewhat to svg. It's just because you're working with multiple pages, you might have to import it to a new page as well. Otherwise, if we get to the website, do you guys navigate to softwaretraining.co.za ? today you can find this video and more like this. You can see here we've got a variety of different software recover. And then, um we're also have a search bar. Yes.
