There are quite a few different options and settings under the Fill & Stroke Panel, where to start?

We will be starting with the basic single color fill option and its’s settings, then we will expand a bit more and venture to the Patterns, Gradients and Strokes.

This video is part of a mini-series.
Next video covers the Fill Patterns.

How are you guys in today's video? I'll cut. We look at the full colour under the fill and stroke panel. Let's have a quick intro first so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. Will see, uh, you guys on this. So we do have a variety of different software to recover, and also we upload them daily, so keep an eye on that for any new content. Otherwise, we go back to the programme here now just to let you guys know this will be a mini serious on the will instruct panel, as there is quite a lot to cover. But let's start off by being able to locate it. So if you want to go to your full of stroke panel properties, you can always go here to this little artisan type a palette where you mix colours on and you can select that. Then we'll have a few options from this menu. Now you'll see we've got this nice little black bar here. This separates the full from the stroke. So if you see this, you know the top is the fill and the bottom is a Strug. Now, under the actual Phil, we have two settings here. We've got full type, and then we've got the capacity. So what The past it will do is obviously how transparent that shape is. Colour for that shape and the phone. We have your non colour pattern gradient. Today we're looking colour. But in order for this to work, first thing we wanna do is select the shape. So I'll select this first triangle here. Then, uh, we quickly set the opacity. You can kind of see how the blocks becomes more transparent and next next to the colour selection we've got here a little colour box. And then if we click that, then it will bring up the colour picker. So this is basically where we'll be selecting the colour. Now, there's a few options from down here. We've got General Tap and pallets, just a quick overview on the palette. So it's kind of like if you're gonna be working with Grey Scale and you can leave the palette on the grayscale or if you're gonna be working on Web safe colours. But these days, um, uh, the Internet and I was so fast that we don't need to worry about these things anymore. unless you're working on Grey Scale, you can still use that. Otherwise we'll go back to the general terms now on top. Here, we've got a few templates. So it's kind of pre made pre setup colours that you can quickly just use a sampling of your news as a placeholder. Sometimes you're using your final design, but I find I mostly will use it for templates or for quicker place holders. And in the greys are sometimes used, maybe in the final design. And under that, we have the actual colour box. And then we've got the and this little rainbow bar will be the use of election. So then, under the colour box, you can just left click with your mouse moving around as you can see the top right here, we'll update the colour under the new. So obviously the old will show us what our previous colour was. And the news currently what it is now This is nice of you making fine adjustments and you can see the difference in any case. So if you left click like I said and hold your mouth, then you can move in and change colour now on the colour box. If we go from left to right, as you can see there, it sets the actual saturation. So, uh, far too right before saturated, far left, completely saturated. So basically no colour, a lot of full colour and then from top to bottom will be the brightness or bottom top. So on the top, we've got full, uh, brightness and the bottom full darkness. This can also be referred to as values. So the dark value, light value you can do, Your Grace, our young for lift colour. And if we leave it on a colour and we go to this little rainbow bar or such a saturation and same as the other boxes were left licking all, then you can move this bar around and will change the actual colour of your selection. So wherever you've left, your little selection circle will change the colour of that and keep all the value and saturation is same. And then on the right here, we've got the, uh, mode. So under the mod, we've got C m I K h s, l and RGB seem okay. So we're gonna use work more traditional type mediums and you can always select that. But, uh, RGB is if you're doing more digital designs, but it can also translate very easily. So if the client asking you for your seem like okay, colours, you can always select the shape go to seem like a just sending the info for these colours. But I'll be leaving rgb and then under this we obviously have a few different settings. So first of all, we've got our which for your red when we set this up, it's how much red there's going to be in it. And then next up, we've got the G for green. Once again, you can see how much green not much blue. So as you set these colours, you can obviously get custom colours. But I prefer just to set it all year. Way more simple for me, then, uh, next to that, or she was under that. We've got the hex colour. This is pretty much for what you're gonna be using for Web, and that's if someone needs your colour information for that colour. You can always copy this, send it to them or, if they're sending your colour information can take their space. There is in here and it will change the colour automatically to whatever they've said it. So that way you can make sure your colours are accurate to this. And then under that, we've got the custom colours. So if you have a colour set and let's say you're gonna use it a lot, you can always go add to custom colours. But keep in mind if you change this and you say it again, it's gonna replace that little colours. So what you wanna do for new custom colour, you click next to it or on another white block you can find said it and then we say add to custom colour again. And now it will update that long box. It's convenient. I mean, you can kind of individual update. So if we leave that and you finally say, okay, then it will update your full colour. So, yeah, that is the basis on the full colour. Uh, we will be carried out during some of the other modes in a future video, but otherwise we go here to final cut. The programme is freely available here, just navigating the downloads page. Otherwise, on the softwaretraining.co.za Uh, like I mentioned, I got a variety of different software to cover, as you can see and also you can isolate. You're searching for anything specific. Otherwise, if we don't find what you're looking forward to, your request, a training video and then we will make that for you. Otherwise, thanks, guys, for watching until next one just
