The Pen Color option is a feature which you would use for a machine that works with colored pens for drawing.
By default, there are quite a few nice colors to choose from, but if you working with very specific colors or have a range of unique ones, then being able to make custom color boards is of real help.
This video is part of a mini-series. Previous video covered the Stroke Color option.
How are you guys in today's video Final Cut will be looking at the pen colour for the stroke under the full and stroke panel. Let's have a quick intro first, though. MM, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za y you guys will notice We've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover and also we upload training videos daily so you can just keep an eye there for the content. Otherwise, we get back in the programme here. Just a reminder. This is a continuation of the previous video where we cover the stroke, which is part of a miniseries on the fill and stroke panel. So in today's video, we're gonna be looking at the strokes pen colour. So once again, if you navigate to the fill and stroke panel, which will be this little mixing board for hardness, been under the stroke, we select from the drop down menu. We select pen colour now, like the normal colour, you can just click on the little box, but you will notice we have a few different options now. So, uh, what the pen colour will be normally used for. Let's say you've got a machine that uses a pen, and it uses different types of colours so it will pause. In between. You can swap the pens or so forth. So then this is where you'll set up the colours that will be using. So as you can see, we've got a variety of different colours already by the standard. But let's say you using your own custom colour palette then we can always do is click on this little gear next to the pen set. We say add pen set. Uh, we give it a name. Let's just call it, Uh, my, it's it's mhm. Just kept a lot of them. Now we're from the drop down in the year. We can actually select your own customers, but as you can see at the moment, there is no colours in here to add. Colours will go to the same little gear. Then we can navigate down to add colour. So once you selected that or bring up a colour box, same as usual, so you can obviously make your own custom colours. You can just add it to the custom colour year to the right at the bottom, and then make sure you click a new block. If you want to add another one, you can even use one of them as a starting point. We used to add that at these colours, but keep in mind only the one selected will add, and you give a colour name. It's called purple, and then now what you can do is you go to the again, add colour, and then you can always just select your other custom. Colour added to give it a name so forth. Now what you can also do. Let's say, um, there's a colour gonna remove the same way you can go to that little gear icon. Then you click. Either you name it, you name it or you can remove. Then also same with pen set. We can rename the set or remove it here from that same little icon, the icon. Then, when you say okay, then you have those colours you can pick from from your pen sets. If you click your pop up, all the options you have and just said it. So if you know okay, I only have these type of colour pens I'm working with. Then this is a great tool to set up for that. Otherwise, that kind of wraps up the full and stroke, um, miniseries. And then if we had here to final cut dot c o dot z Ray, the programme is freely available. They just head to the downloads page. Otherwise, on the softwaretraining.co.za. Uh um, like I mentioned earlier, you can see we've got a variety of different software to cover, and also you can isolate. Your search is if you're looking for anything specific, you can just do that. But if you don't find what you're looking for, we have this nice little feature called Request the Training Video. And then if you do that and you fill in the submission submission, then, um, you can always give us a request and then we'll make a video for you. But otherwise thanks, guys, for watching and cheers.
