Hi guys. In today's video, intricate already works. We're gonna be looking at setting your variable text. We're gonna be first looking at the date under the options. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, back on the programme here, just a quick reminder that this is a miniseries on the text tool where we'll be going over its options and features and how to use it underneath. Here we can you will find in the description some, uh, relevant links. So if you wanted to follow along with the miniseries, but otherwise back in the tool year so today we're gonna be looking at the variable text and what it offers us. So first of all, I'm gonna add some text. I'm just gonna on the middle year. You can quite frankly call this whatever you want once we enable variable special for the day that we won't be able to see, um, the original ticks. So I'm just gonna call this, um maybe time stamp, we get one, and then I'm gonna set the scale to about 100 millimetres for now. Then on the right here we will find this. Enable variable text. So if we click this little cheque box, it will pop us up with the variables. We have the option year date. So we click that we've got dates and serial number or serial Inna. So we're going to be looking at date and a few things we can do. So this is great. If you want to put a time stamp about when it was created or anything like that from it, we've got a default, and but I personally use one of the ones under that. Perhaps so we've got the normal 12 hour clock, as you can see there, we've got the hours and the minutes. Then we've got another one with the seconds included. And then we've got a 24 hour clock, which will obviously do it. Uh, same. But in 24 hours and then we also have one with seconds. We've got American Date, which will put a date, some Chinese dates, some European dates and then a weekly year. We'll look at now. So the I personally like the, um wiki er Because if we click this and we say okay and you will see it gives us the date plus the time and the seconds So that is like, it's a lot of information in one little thing and it prevents you from having to not go. Look what today? The time, all of that and custom we followed in can easily just make a little time stamp, maybe throw it somewhere in the corner so the designers can no. Okay, you know, if you needed it or if you want to make it part of your design, you're gonna do it this way. It also has the options at the bottom, as you can see where we can do it offset. So you can Tuesday, your year, day, month or year say we want to make it a year at a year. Then we say, OK, and you will see Now, now 2022 no longer 2021. So you can use that for creating a quick dates and stuff timestamps on your design. But otherwise yeah, that covers, um uh the date under the variable text. If we had to head here to the website softwaretraining.co.za z. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different software to recover, and also you can isolate your search on the top of right. If you do not, however, find the training video looking forward to simply go here, request the training video of fellow women form. Then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise thanks guys for watching and cheers.
