other guys in today's video that already works. We're gonna be looking at the main menu and some of the sub menus located under that in particular in today's video is gonna be the fire Me. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Mm mm. Mhm. Mm. Today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za Today we make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos were also daily updates. Otherwise we're back in the programme. Yeah. Now, just so you guys know this is going to be a miniseries on the main menu, which is this menu on top. I'm gonna have a quick overview of just all of the menus and what is located within their I will also leave relevant links and description so you guys can actually follow along now. Like I mentioned the intro Today's video We're gonna be looking at the file menu, which is our first menu year now. The main menu. Quick way to access it. You can always go hold plus F. As you can see, all these menus have little letters behind them. That is the shortcut key. So file, it's f so Holt was f will open a file me from the menu. Here we have a few options, the first ones. But now I would imagine you know what they do. So we have new. You want to start a new project? We've got open. So let's say you've saved multiple projects. You want to open an individual one always grab that we could save and save as save as it's nice. If you want to make a copy of your current project so you're about to make a big change. It might be more destructive. Then you go save as many a copy and then you just edit the new copy. Then under that, we've got import and export. This is mostly useful, Okay, it's not mostly, but, uh, big part of it is like graphics related, so you can import like vector type things, but they have other options as well. So import. Just bring yourself into the programme. An export exporting normally will save give the option to save it to different formats. If we had to look here, we've got a I and um was that plt? So it's normally different to the native format of the programme so that you can edit it in another programme that case after effects. I mean, I do illustrate our apologies. And then we've got an image library, which you can access and import background. If you want to change that vendor settings, which is for kind of like the machines connected to your computer, the laser cutter that will be their settings forgot import and export software settings here I normally recommend, if you're programmes set up while make sure you at least make one copy exports software settings and then name is something back up software settings back up or something like that. So even future if something goes wrong, at least you have a backup. Then under that, we've got, uh, kind of like a temporary uh, They won't say library, but it's a form of library of recently opened files. So you have a list of files here that you have, um, recently worked on, so that way you can easily just navigate to them so you don't have to go file open if you wanna go find and you can simply just apologies. Go file, go there and then open that file for you. Lastly, as you guys can see we've got exit and this will be used to exit your programme and obviously also use the X on top. And I don't worry. If you have not saved and you click that and it will ask you to say first otherwise, yeah, that's a basic overview on the file menu. Uh, in future videos like I mentioned, we're going into more depth on some of the especially import export. And then, um, yeah, otherwise we had here to softwaretraining.co.za. That's the end of the day, guys. And that's got a variety of different software to recover. And also you can isolate your search on the top of right. You do not, however, find the video you're looking forward just to hear. Request a training video. Then we will make that video for you. But otherwise thanks, guys for watching and cheers
