When it comes to the Serial No, you will notice that it consist of different information values.

The Suffix will be use opposite to the Prefix to construct a unique identification for the product.

Alright guys, in today's video truth that already works. We're gonna be looking at the surf X for the serial number under the variable text. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za Z day. We make sure we need to watch problem solving videos. We also have the updates otherwise read back in the programme yet now just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the text two and I will leave relevant links and description so you guys can follow along now. In the previous video, we looked at setting up the suffix I mean the prefects, which will be which was the intro to your serial number, which in our case, wa softwaretraining.co.za. And today we're gonna be looking at the cervix now. By no means is this formula or format you should be following. You can always uh, yeah, I would recommend this. Do some research on what is acceptable especially, um, or more directed in your line of product or format. So this is pretty much just what I'm gonna be using. For example, so you get an idea of how to work it. So now if I had to go into the settings, I'm gonna use our serial number double click it and go to the variable text area. So now we've just set up the prefix of this is what's gonna happen before your serial number or to start off your stereo number. And the surface is gonna be the end of So in my case, let's say I've got a company. Maybe I'll make guitars then. Um, it's not the best example, cause I'm only gonna be showcasing for one type of guitar. So let's say I only have one model of this type of thing I make, so they know maybe naming suddenly like GT for guitar. And then what I would like to do is put a behind it. So I know that this is kind of the first batch we're gonna go through. So after I've made run through all of these, then if I had to make some more, then I'll just go be eventually see, you know, and so forth. Then you can kind of make many different batches. So then when someone says, Okay, listen, I've got a problem with this product or I want more information on it. You can quickly see. Okay, this was the first ones we printed. Or this is the second one. Third one's self. So that's, uh, what? I'll be using the surface. So if I go out here, actually apply or okay, then we will see you at the end of the colour of blue. So when I was selected, it's still invisible, properly visible. But in any case, so now we can see already here we've got S t for softwaretraining.co.za bviously changes to whatever. Then we've got some numbers and then we've got g t A which No, it's not the game. But in our case, it's guitar and batch. Hey, so we know that you can obviously do like more information on this. Let's say you make different types of guitars. You can go, you know g t something. And then another letter and the same with, um prefix can also make this multiple so you can perhaps go year softwaretraining.co.za. G t. We know it's okay. It's a guitar. And then maybe you can have the end, the model and the batch or something in that line But obviously this is very depending on your company and the way you're gonna be translating it when someone actually, um, give you information about the serial number. But yeah, that pretty much covers the suffix as well. So if we had to head here to softwaretraining.co.za.
