SAi FlexiSTARTER 19 Position of your Design (Part 4) Cutting and Plotting Mini-Series

flexistarter setting cutting position

When it comes to setting the position of the design within the Cut and Plot Feature, there are two ways to go about it.

The first way of setting the position has a more calculated approach, which is great for jobs with strict design requirements, as the second approach has a more dynamic freehand way of positioning the design.

This video is part of a Mini-Series.
Next video covers General Tab Size.

All right, guys, in today's video Flexi Starter, we're gonna be looking at the position settings for the General Tab under the current plot feature. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. Yes, so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za z. We make sure that easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're back in the programme here. Just a quick reminder. This is a miniseries on the cutting plot feature, and I will leave relevant links and description so you guys can actually follow along now in order to look at the position settings. Obviously, we need to open the tool which can be found on the standard toolbar. Actually, the print we've got that low cut, um, played icon, or you can just simply control plus l uh, Then once we're in the programme here now we obviously at the moment under our general tab, which is the first tab here and then also, we've already covered the material and ascending mode. It's gonna leave mine on saying now and then next up here, we've got the position and there's actually two ways we can set their position of your design and but we'll be first, look in the first and then the second. So this is obviously where your design it is located on your material. So if you want to have a custom layout or so forth, move your designer. But then you can do it every year. So the two first settings we have here is a horizontal offset and vertical. And then into the right day, we've got the interactive mode. So first of all, if we set the horizontal, we'll see on our preview year how it changes. So now you can kind of reposition can obviously type in values as well if you wanted to, and then same with the vertical, you can adjust this and we'll readjust it now to the right here. We've got the interactive mode which will, um yeah, it allows you to more dynamically interact with a design, layout or position so we can do Is we enable that by clicking it, then we can simply go here on our preview, click the design and move it to where you want it. As we move it, we will notice these two values change to basically setting a new position now unless you've got very strict requirements when it comes to the measurements of where it must be positioned, I recommend this is definitely the way to go about it as it makes life way more simple. And you can kind of, um, judge with your eye away quicker where you want it and then, yeah, so that is it on positioning in the next few metres, we're looking at the job size copies and so forth. So otherwise we had here to softwaretraining.co.za z. You guys will notice we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can't isolate your search on the top of right. If you do not, however, find the video looking for Jessica Year, request a training video. Then we will make that video for you. But otherwise, things guys watching until next one. Jules
