The Main Menu has many features to choose from to use, but which ones are most commonly used?

With so many Sub-Menus under the Main Menu, File, Edit, View and Arrange just to mention a few, all filled with their own features under each menu. With that being said, that’s why it is good to know what is important for everyday use and what is not.

How are you guys in this video? With Lexi started, we'll be looking at a few important features under the main menu. But let's have a quick intro first so today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. You'll see that today, guys, on this, we've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and also we upload videos daily, so just keep it there for the content. Otherwise, we're back in the programme. Yeah, just reminded this is a miniseries on user interface, so I'll leave some links in the description to some videos that you can follow along now when it comes to the main menu, this menu on top. There's a lot of features under all of them, as you can see it all, most of them. But we'll just be quickly running over all the important ones once you kind of use every day or almost every day. Now let's start with the file menu. So if we go down the file menu, I'm obviously new, open and close, especially new. It's quite important and open. Uh, all these, Um, I can't, uh, all these features. You can see the shortcut keys next, so I would recommend Learn these for the ones you use a lot, especially saving. So we've got Saviour and then we control is control. Shift is will save as now. Yeah, all the other menus also have them. Some features don't have shortcut keys, but just look which ones do? In any case, we're moving on to safe savers important import export. And it's also really important. Documents set up, uh, can become quite important, but not really, uh, print setup print. You'll use that. Maybe when you're finally ready with your project and then we've got here the opposite x of the probe, then the next up here, we've got edit. Now on the edit, we've got undo and redo, which is quite important. So we've got control Z for under control wife or reading cut copy paste. Also very importantly, And the shortcuts we can uh then next let's say we've got select, which can also be important for you to select inward selection and deselect or you've got preferences. Preferences will be for your actual programme. We're under file and then we have documents. Setup. Is we basically the preferences for your document, So just keep in mind the difference and on the view we've got a few. We've got two bar designed, central and full struck. This is quite important, as you can see on the side. Here is your design central. So if you buy actually closes, you go to view, Click on Design Central and we'll bring it back. Same with full and stroke and stuff you use often and then and to bar. If you go back and closed anything you can find a year again so you can you can see how to body disappear and I bring it back then, uh, see, under this, we've got, um, show and snap. But these features are quite important. Those things use under there. You know, the arranged grouping we've got group on group. That's an important one to remember. Then let's see what else we have here. We've got the order, which is important. If you wanna bring lays, afford backwards and then lie. And obviously, if you have an object selected, then a rotate resized this Q and mirror. Also rather important next up text. Most of this stuff is not that important thing that you can get them by your text to but break apart. It's rather important one. So if we select our text, we'll see here on our design central. Most of those options are already here. So under this menu, break apart. Perhaps in part one fix. Yeah, well, still, cover that And that map, if you have a raised the image like a photo of something resembling will be there and then otherwise under window. And I would say these bottom two are rather important because you'll use this to switch to another basic project. Easy way to switch and then under help. Obviously, you can go for online help or sorry, and just wants to help topic in Uh, yeah, yeah, The top one is online. And then the flex your help to rules this one at the bottom so you can have a quick in house too tall if you need that and then they're about is also an important where you can see your version and so forth. That was yeah, that is the basic run through on important features to apologise. So I was really just running through them. We will cover a lot of these stuff more in depth and then if you're not sure about anything. You can just rerun the video and just look at an important features, not saying the other ones are not important, but on a daily basis or daily usage. The ones are covered or grant through quickly.
