FabriCAM Software Save Files from Primary Toolbar (Part 1) Step by Step Video Tutorial

When it comes to different features that are available within FabriCAM, the save feature is one of the most important ones.

The first option for saving your files will be in my opinion the most used and easiest to locate.

Hi guys. In today's video, we're gonna be looking at How can you save your file or your project that you are busy with? But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. We make sure needs to watch problem solving videos and we also have daily updates. Otherwise, we're back into the programme here. Now, in today's video, like I mentioned, we're gonna be looking at saving your file. Now, as you can see currently on our primary toolbar over here on top, we are safe. Option is greyed out. Now that will obviously only be happening if you do not have anything open or a project. So you either have to go make a new project, add some shapes or what I'm just gonna do is open a file from our last tutorial. So I'm gonna open here. I think this was from our advanced, uh, flat parts. And as you can see over a year now, if I do mean this thing is no longer greyed out, it looks kind of like an old school stuffy. If you guys can remember it from back in the day. This was kind of the pre CD, and pre, I guess the city was a pre DVD, but yeah. So what you wanna do is with your file. Um, open you go save, just simply click on this and then you navigate where you want to save it to. And if I had to zoom in here on the types of file or, uh, save as type, you'll see we only have one file available, which is a nesting file. This is dot s N S t. And this is the native kind of filed for the programme. So this will say all your information. So next time you open it to automatically load everything the way you've said it now, the process was very a bit depending on what you're using. If using. So I had, then you'll be having different file format. You can save us, but they will cover in another video. But yeah, there is another way we can save so but we'll save that for another video.
