Alright, guys, In today's video, we're gonna be looking at a mini series on our main tool bar and we'll be starting with the new open and safe features and this will be for flexi print. But before that, let's have a quick intro first. So today's video can be found on softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z A. We make short and easy to watch problem solving videos, and we also have daily updates back into the programme. So now I've opened flexi print here and then, um, at the moment there is no document open or project, but by default, they'll open you a blank one. I just wanna show you, at least where what is. And like I mentioned, this will be a mini series on the actual main toolbar, which is this toolbar up here. Uh, it is important to note most of these items here, Or should I say all of these you can find under your menus on top. So, um, this is just the most used ones. They kind of throw on a tool box for you. So now first one we're gonna be looking at is creating a new project or a new file So that will be this first little icon that is not greyed out. If nothing is open, you can also go file new. And if we had to look to the far right, you can see the shorter flat is control N. So I'm just gonna simply click on this little one, create a new file, and then this will have your default proper set up. Now, I'm just gonna make some changes so we can look at saving. So, uh, let's just send this Let's say I create, um, maybe a circle and, uh, just create a rectangle every year, maybe change the colour, and then we'll maybe just change the order. So let's put this one and then we actually, um, move this one. Go arrange just for the sake of this and then we wanna or set the order and then send it to the back. OK, let's say you've created your design. You're happy with it now you wanna save it because it is important you wanna don't wanna lose your progress. So what you can do is once again, you can either go file. You can click, save most of the time, the short cover has control S. So let's find out here. We've got control S, CS or save as but that will, we'll cover in another one. This is more for if you wanna do, copy perhaps of your current one or save it to a different location if you've already saved it. But we're not gonna do that. I'm just gonna go here to the icon. So now the third icon, it looks like the old stiffy drive or floppy drive. If you hover over that, you'll see it says save and it's shortcut. I'm gonna click that. Then it's gonna navigate. Or should I say we able to navigate to where we want to save this? I'm gonna leave it where I've saved my current project. Then by default, there's, uh, the format it uses the dot FS or dot PD. This comes with a flexi print. So let's just call this, uh, maybe test project and then let us save that. So now we've got an actual file save, so if we closed it, then we can actually restore or get that file where normally if you didn't save you, all that information or progress will be lost and that is just to third option on this or third option, we'll be looking at on this mental bond that is open. So the first icon year is new, and then the next one year is open. So if we hover on this, it should give us a nice little info. It doesn't, but this is open. You can also go file open or hit the hot keys or shorter keys Control. Oh, so I'm gonna click on open now. You can see we've got a test project here. A nice little preview here on the right, which, if the preview is enabled, you'll be able to see what the project is like. As you can see, that is our old shapes. So then you can simply click open. Open it. You can also go file open. Let's say we open our softwaretraining.co.za ne as well. Now we have both these open. You can navigate it like we looked at before. In another mini series. You can go window and then we can switch between our test project or actual softwaretraining.co.za. So just a quick recap on our me main, uh, tool bar. My apologies. It will be new open and save, and you'll see at the moment the save is greyed out. Uh, it is important to understand that this will only become active once we've made changes. So let's say I make a change here now, so you'll see it is available for us to edit. So that is, uh, something to keep in mind. So if your save is greyed out, it's only cause no changes made. So nothing needs to be saved. But yeah, otherwise, that is it. And a two ball, at least the first three features. And, uh, we'll cover some more in the next video. But before that, if we we head here to softwaretraining.co.za. co dot Z a. You guys will notice. We've got a variety of different Softwares we do cover, and you can also isolate your search on the top or right. If you do not, however, find the training videos you're looking for, just simply go here on the left called Request the training Video. Then you'll fill in the mini form, and then we'll do our best to try and make that for you. But otherwise, thanks guys for watching and cheers
